Thats 13 starts now, 8 goals 5 assists for Bendtner this season, after 19 starts 12 goals and 6 assists last season. Great stats, again the ONLY thing holding him back is Wenger not giving him the games.

I'll point out he's calm and doesn't panic in every game like the rest of the squad, something we DESPARATELY need in the squad in the big games, he was instrumental against Barcelona for the 1st goal in the comeback. He's playing almost every single game completely out of position yet still scoring at a strikers rate and all with no form as he'll score a hattrick and be out of the team for 3 weeks.

He's set up, scored or been incredibly involved in almost every game he's played in the past 2 seasons, the only issue is we rarely play him. He wasn't great for the first 5-10minutes, took a while to warm up but then his passing was good, interplay was good, 1-2's and movement was brilliant and he always got into the box on the far post when the ball was being played up the opposite wing, something Walcott never ever does.

This is ignoring stats wise the 4-5 goals that have been scored as a direct result of movement/runs he makes that others don't. Song header scored because he ran across the keeper, own goal because he ran across the keeper both from corners, RVP's Barca goal because he dragged the defence and made Valdes react to the potential tap in, etc.

AFter his assist, yet another one, in the league thats precisely 270 minutes in the league, or 3 games with 2 goals and 2 assists. He played just under 1300 minutes in the league last season, or 13.5 games, and got 6 goals and 6 assists, playing with an injury for most of it.

Bendter is pretty good and i'd certainly take him over Chamakh. And you know he can't blame his form on confidence since he seems immune to believing anything is his fault :D

**** me now why the hell couldnt we have played like that on Sunday...ok granted Brum is a tad more difficult but i mean come on...we scored 5 superb goals tonight and thats more like it....sometimes i just wish we could do similar week in week out...i loathe it at times that we struggle to score goals:(.

Well now onto the Barca game...read today that RVP is out for at least 6 weeks :(....one of our most important players yet again gets injured and is out for some time...grrrr its annoying but unless we have another stonker of a game i cant see us beating Barca at home...id love us to do so but i have my doubts...but fingers crossed we pull off another amazing victory....tonight has gone some way to lessen the damage that happened Sunday in the CC final...

DM, not that I'm trying to pretend Bendtner didn't do well, but did you notice how every attack Leyton Orient managed came down their left? And that our right back was suspiciously absent every single time?

I was wondering why Wenger decided to bring on Clichy, Nasri and Wilshere when we were 3-0 ahead, but then I realised that we obviously needed to make the game safe first, so it made sense.
