***SPOILERS!!*** Football 29 Jan -3rd Feb 2011

Heart breaking for sure.

Bloody typical as usual. Right after he sprints for something he pulls up, as said earlier I had thought it odd that most of our side was fit and ready.

Yep it was way too unrealistic to hope for a full team out against Barca, which I thought was Arsenal's only chance. It's vital that RvP, Walcott and Fabregas are fit for both games though.

To be fair even when we were on top of it a few years back we all knew that rarely told the whole story.

And to be honest opposition fans constantly let us know that. ;)

Quick question has Fabregas been getting half as much stick for waving the imaginary card that Rafael did in the game against Spurs?

Thought not

I personally couldn't care less about asking the ref to do his job, if the ref does his job properly, players wouldn't need to. Squillaci's red was a "inty" bit harsh but not much, I'm not sure he would have made it to the ball.

I can see Arsenal's issue, soft though the penalty was, there was clear contact and it was a clear goal scoring chance.

I think the issue is Rafael's just a mouthy gob, as shown when he got sent off. Sure most people would have had a rant at the ref, or at least thrown a few words his way, its the gesturing, and he does the crazy eyes pretty good, though he's not in Hasselbaink's league there.

Its hard to say its a against foreigners thing, as Fabregas isn't exactly English. Honestly if it wasn't for the red card and Rafael having a go at the ref, the waving the card would be long forgotten. several players do it EVERY SINGLE GAME, I'm not saying several specific players do it, but in every game played, at every level, someone does it.

Its okay to go to the ref and ask if something wasn't a foul, its okay to ask if that wasn't a bad foul and maybe deserved a card, abreviating that to waving an imaginary card is somehow terrible, ridiculous.

My point was actually when Rafael waved the imaginary card in the Spurs game and the whole forum went mental over it!

Fabregas does it and no one mentions a thing!

Regarding Rafael's red and subsequent FA charge I wont go over old ground

Well, it was mentioned but then Spawn told everyone to shut up since clearly anyone remembering said incident was participating in a hate-crime against L'Arse.

It's stupid anyway, especially in Fabregas' case, the ref makes a big mistake and Fabregas is entitled to remind him of the rules. Anyway, I see absolutely no difference in raising your hand and chasing after the ref swearing at him for getting a decision wrong. In actual fact the latter is clearly way worse, but it's something the media seem to have sneaked into people opinions, those dirty foreigners raising their arms, how dare they! Why aren't they being English and shouting '**** off!' in the ref's face, that's much more acceptable :/

Got to be better than wishing a death on your own squad and manager...

Some people support their club rather than criticise everything they do.

???

Thats harsh, The man himself agreed with me regarding his mistakes last match.

When was the last time Harry agreed with you?

Oh thats right, never. ;)

At least I'll have a club to support, where as if Harry gets his way all that will be left of spurs is a load of floral tributes left at the gates of WHL.

You do realise Spurs' owner is richer than Man Utd's? :p

We've already had this discussion in the past, he doesnt have 2.7 billion cash.

He has assets of 2.7 billion.

I have assets that are worth £700,000, I dont have £700,000 pounds.

Do you see?

I could be considerably richer than you in terms of assets, you are most likely considerably better off than me in amounts of cash at your disposal.

"Well I had a discussion with atpbx at the final whistle and he says that I made some mistakes, so I guess he's right... I should resign really."

Wise up.
