***SPOILERS!!*** Football 29 Jan -3rd Feb 2011

I dont envy him starting agaisnt us on Sunday as Torres was/is easily riled up and i can safely assume 99% of our supports will wind him up along with the players no doubt if he left on bad terms that is.

Also we all know Carra is going to foul him at some point :P

It's at Chelsea, I'm sure they will give him a great reception so the contingent of Liverpool fans won't bother him that much.

He gets called a girl for 90 minutes at most other stadiums so I can't seem him being too upset.

What makes you think a dodgy old Carragher is going to get anywhere near him?

I'd be surprised if he starts. He'll be on the bench and will come on at HT when they're trailing 2-0 to two Suarez goals, and then leave on a stretcher shortly after when Carragher cuts him in half.

Well to score he has to go near our net no? of which Carra will be their :P

We will win anyway so doesnt matter if he scores tbf :P

And that will be the end of his season. :p

(I joke, I wouldn't want any players career ruined!)

*there

Anyway, please remember Carragher is just coming back from an injury, he's old and slow.

You will be better off having Skrtel marking him tbh.

Hope Rafael is back tonight, don't think I can take watching O'Shea get the ball in the opposition half, stand around looking bemused at what to do with it before passing back or sideways.

I still loved his 30 odd yard out shot a few weeks ago, where he got closer to the half way line than the goal! :D

Vidic,Rio,Evra and Rafael all expected to play tonight. I honestly think we have the second best defence in Europe, first being Barca. Could argue Inter or Chelsea have a better defence, but those teams have all lost a fair amount of games this season.

Barca's defence is hardly bad but I wouldn't call it the best in europe. Alves is very heavily an attacking player, Puyol, whilst bloody good, is beaten by fast players. Pique doesn't have fantastic decision making, and the other slot isn't a fixed player... Maxwell/Milito/Abidal. I rate Abidal, but I've not seen huge amounts of the other two.

ARSENAL v EVERTON
Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy, Song, Wilshere, Walcott, Fabregas, Rosicky, van Persie.
Subs: Almunia, Diaby, Arshavin, Eboue, Gibbs, Chamakh, Bendtner.

Everton: Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Arteta, Rodwell, Fellaini, Bilyaletdinov, Saha.
Subs: Mucha, Jagielka, Beckford, Gueye, Osman, Anichebe, Baxter.

Full strength side, barring the lack of Nasri (sad face). Here's hoping for the right result. :)

This season their defence has be solid. Close to 20 clean sheets and are on a 3 clean sheet role right now.

Just noticed Barca's 2011/12 pre-season friendlies. Spurs and Man City on the firing line.

Doesn't really tell the whole story though does it. We all know how Barca play. Possession football of the highest calibre. It's hard to test a defense when you don't even have the ball to fire at them! And that's before we go into the same old La Liga not being as competitive etc etc.

Didn't realise we had them in a pre-season. That's fantastic. We'll hammer 'em, 0-0.

I'd say a lot of that is down to the obscene posession they have and how they totally dominate midfield no matter who they are against.
