***SPOILERS!!*** Football 29 Jan -3rd Feb 2011

Bentley playing well for us, just hope he can sustain it to the end of the season. Hopefully when Martins paperwork is completed we can start scoring more goals. Overall very pleased with tonights match.

err wolves are bottom by 2 points with a game in hand

united are top with a lead of 5 over arsenal and 8 over city who have a game in hand and spurs are 3 behind chelsea who have a far superior gd

What do you think of Pardew so far? I know how he came in overshadowed his credentials a bit for Toon fans, but he had an impressive career until it spectacularly collapsed at West Ham and he seems to have done a decent job so far.

Yeah, he's done alright, we seem to be better going forward under him (although not tonight!). Just not really a noticeable difference from when Hughton was in charge which makes the whole situation stupid.

He's got the same problem that Hughton had in that we've got a half decent first eleven but beyond that there's no-one, if things don't go our way there is no plan B.
 
Have to say Kenny's interviews always make me laugh - always has a wise crack in them - he also revealed that Suarez hasn't even trained with the team yet!

Some nice touches on the ball and a good start to his career - hope it continues :)

I thought this new look formation looked quite solid today - mind you stoke were pretty crap throughout tho so i guess time will tell - who knows might even start with the same team on sunday.

Would take a draw but we all know Torres will score the winner :(
 
So the Sun has an unnamed Everton player letting us all know the "disgusting" thing Cesc said to the ref.

In the tunnel Cesc said to AN EVERTON PLAYER, "how much have you paid the ref?". So he said nothing bad to the ref, and its a bit of banter between players basically, and Moyes being an epic troll, and yet more rumours about Cesc that people will use as proof he's a little git the next time some idiot makes up some rubbish about him.

Did Moyes really think Cesc was asking the ref how much he paid himself to give that decision, really?

I'd actually imagine that kind of between team banter goes on in most games, and I fail to see where its disgusting.

I wish Moyes would just hurry up and have a stroke or something.

And it's quite rich for him to "make up" all this stuff considering he RAN ONTO THE PITCH TO GIVE SERIOUS VERBAL ABUSE TO A REF.

We may never know the truth, but if that's what Cesc said, that's really disappointing of Moyes to tell the world. Clearly a harmless comment
