Indeed. Rugby hasn't been negatively affected by it at all. Also allows players to be cited post match regardless of whether the ref has seen it or not.

Because the ball moves about 3 millimetres, you can only just make it out on some of the TV camera angles in slow motion, the linesman/ref are both far away, its entirely possible they didn't see it.
None of the Arsenal players (bar RvP) saw it and they were much closer.
Clearly they didn't see it, which to be fair only 1 Arsenal player saw it. It was ridiculously minimal contact that was hard to see even from the replay.
What has he got wrong apart from the Vidic incident?
