***SPOILERS*** Football 30 Apr - 2 May 2010/2011

Whilshire, other than RvP was the only other Arsenal player to react to it.

And lol, One More Solo you need to watch some Rugby,

Ref has been a joke tbh for both sides, gave Rooney a yellow for his first challenge. Then he gave a freekick for a handball by Rooney when both his arms were straight down by his side

And Wilshere holding onto Carrick's ankle on the ground? Pathetic.

Would be so massive if he did get sent off with Chelsea visiting next week!

LOL it's so poor and this picture now, look at the linesmen position it couldn't have got any better there.

No. Clearly stated:

6.A.7 REFEREE CONSULTING WITH OTHERS
(b) A match organiser may appoint an official who uses technological
devices. If the referee is unsure when making a decision in in-goal
involving a try being scored or a touch down, that official may be
consulted.

Explain how I'm wrong please?

The video referee is consulted for a lot of things in the game, not just try opportunities. Watch a Rugby match and you will see.

During the Lions tour, the ref asked the opinion of the TMO about potential eye gouging involving Schalk Burger.

Can't believe the ref and linesman missed that one, looked pretty obvious considering his arm was so clearly in the air. When Vidic fouled Wilshere on the edge of the box too, probs more obvious. He has had more touches than Hernandez though I guess

Has Foy refereed enough Man U games to get a winners medal at the end of the season?

The crowd probably just started appealing because RvP was. Surely you understand that yes, while it should have been a red and a penalty, it was a hard one to see.

How was it hard to see? The flight of the ball changes and vidic is practically doing a superman with his hand in the air!

How hard is it for the linesman to see that?

You're making yourself look like an idiot. I am pretty confident I watch a lot more rugby than you do and current IRB protocol states:

"The TMO must not be requested to provide information on players prior to the ball going into in-goal (except touch in the act of grounding the ball)."

So have your "lol" back.

Nobody other then Wilshire / RVP noticed the hand ball, the fans certainly didn't react, nor did many other players and the Sky pundits didn't see it until the reply despte "we are XXXX miles away and saw it" cocks.

To be fair it's fairly hard to see the deflection from the handball even on slow-mo. The sky lads are full of **** by saying that it was simple decision. They also claim that the officials have nothing else to watch while the ball is in flight- except players fouling each other.

Give me some concrete evidence of the above. It's not allowed. I even remember re: the Schalk Burger incident there was debate about involving the TMO in such decisions.

Are you sure you're not confused between television replays and TMO decisions?

Re: Schalk Burger:

"Kiwi touch judge Bryce Lawrence was heard telling Berdos that Burger "had his fingers in a Lions player's eyes" and told him the offence deserved "at least a yellow card". In fact, the minimum recommendation is a straight red under International Rugby Board regulations."

Stuart Dickinson was the TMO that day.

I am pretty sure because I remember the TMO saying it was gauging, but Schalk should only be given a yellow card.

Also I remember the Ref using the TMO to see if Nick Evans drop goal went through the posts in the match at The Stoop against Stade Francais.
