***SPOILERS*** Football 30 Apr - 2 May 2010/2011

well yeah i see what you mean but to be fair that was difficult to call and i personally thought it was more outside, the only obvious panalty calls were the owen shout and vidic hand ball

Who do you support? As before, I don't remember you being in here before?

I don't think anything of the Vidic handball, given there was no reaction from anyone other then RVP and Wilshire it was a bit of a moot point, no crowd reaction, United players / other Arsenal players didn't see it and the officals certainly didn't.

Thats because he's just come here to troll.

I suspect that of them both.

So because the crowd didn't react, it's not a penalty?

It's the linesman's job to see it, and from the image that was posted, there's no reason why he shouldn't have.

If it was so obvious why didn't everyone else see it then?

Images are deceiving, from the replay it was difficult, the commentators didn't mention it until the second replay.

Likewise, I hope they get relegated :)

Not that it will stop Cheets posting unfortunately, he very rarely posts about his own team and just likes to troll everyone. Its my belief that he doesn't even like football.

I dont see how I'm being bitter at all when you imply that Manchester United only win when all decisions go their way? Utter nonsense.

At no point did I suggest than Manchester United only win when they get all the decisions in their favour. I did however imply that over the course of the season a lot more dubious decisions have gone in their favour than have gone against them.

Pretty much. We were terrible today.

Maybe Arsenal can put out an extended DVD of their win today in lieu of silverware.

As for being a troll, it was comments like the one above that made me reply in the first place. So I'm more the trollee than the troller. ***Nah you're a troll mate***

As for who do I support, I support Arsenal.

Draw or win this weekend and we were pretty much safe. Can you honestly say we look like we can get a result against Chelsea?

Apart from the Schalke game (and only because they were terrible) we have looked crap now against City, Newcastle, Everton and Arsenal. We managed to get one goal in those four matches thanks to a large deflection. Our attacking play is some of the worst I've seen, Hernandez looks incredibly tired. Even against Schalke it took us a good 50-60 mins of complete control to get a goal.

because Neuer was that good not because we were bad!!!

I still think Utd deserved two if not three penalty's today - two hand balls (one in the air and one on the ground) and the Owen decision, , even without some very biased boookings (Rooney did very little + another I cant remember) yet for instance Ramsey holds Carrick down on the ground and gets away with it.

Utd played badly today (and personally I thought the original XI should have been upto it, although moving Park into the middle as part of a 4 wasnt great when Valencia came on), but I am adament Utd should have got one pen (balancing out the pen that Arsenal should have got against Vidic - which was daft with one of the others)

Yesterday was always going to make more of a difference to the title than today was ever going to - but I think (considering the CL games recently) Utd have a chance of getting at least a point against Chelsea.......I just dont want to think about the possibility of it going down to GD

edit - surely the average of the EPL is getting better (ie why the relegation point is under 40 points for the last ten years, and there are still a number of clubs scraping over that) and thats why its difficult to win, its not that certain top clubs are getting worse - ie the quality overall should be celebrated not frowned upon

Great result for arsenal and fully deserved in my mind. Haven't seen them play with so much desire in ages - they were winning most of the 50-50s against united - even arshavin started slide-tackling!

For the refs part I think they should have seen the vidic handball (which would have probably been a red card). Owen could have had a penalty too although it would have been a bit soft. Overall though, arsenal played much better than man u and definitely deserved it.

Title race wide open.

So because the crowd didn't react, it's not a penalty?

Not quite what I said though is it Baz? :D

Nobody seemed to see it other then two Arsenal players? Normally, there is a reaction, from guilty players / the crowd and opposing team.

The only reason people picked up on it on here was because of the Sky replay, and then Sky pundits changing from "Vidic header" to "OMG I SAW THAT FROM UP HERE"

To be honest arsenal were more deserving of the 3 points, and were due a bit of luck in the end. United away from home have been pretty darn poor this season, and have well and truly been spanked in a few games.

However at home they are a different prospect, and will more than likely get the result they need.
