***SPOILERS*** Football 30 Apr - 2 May 2010/2011

Got what we deserved today IMO, Arsenal outplayed us for most of the game, whoever wins next weekend will take the title and I have a horrible feeling it won't be us, I hope I'm wrong though.

imho Neuer made about 4 decent saves in the first half but hey ho - its all about Wednesday now (and even though I know it wont happen, I would still prefer Neuer to replace VDS)
 
Neuer isn't going to leave Germany though is he?

United can surely rest a few players in the Champions league now as well.

Of course Arsenal players/fans can complain. Maybe Sky's live camera angle didn't show show it clearly but at HT Sky showed that both the lino and the ref had unobstructed views of the incident. You also have to question why the ref gave Arsenal the corner from that incident as the ball certainly wasn't near Vidic's head.

Had it been the opposite and Sky's live angle showed it as a clear pen but subsequently showed the lino and refs views were blocked, then you can make a case for putting it down to bad luck and not be able to criticise the ref.

No big deal, Wigan played in the lower leagues for like ever, going down wont be a bad thing.

Shame Sheff Wed are not even in 2nd tier of English football, no wonder you have to glory hunt.

The people who are regulars in here are used to each others wind ups, bitching and moaning and generally despite it all it's just banter.

Someone with not many posts, who's not in many football threads jumps in with "lol united" "lol bitter much" type comments can only expect to be called a troll? Unless I've read this all wrong?

Considering yesterday you cant really think that with a straight face!!

If Hernandez got the decisions Chelsea got (esp for their 2nd yesterday) - Utd would have won 3 - 1 today and he would be the top scorer in the league (over the season, rather than just because of today)

Even considering Vidic's handball (which I dont deny) Utd deserve a lot of "re-balancing" next weekend, otherwise thiats two titles Chelsea have won unfairly

The hypocrisy of united fans is not worth getting worked up over.

Arsenal were the better side. There were only two genuine penalty shouts in the game, the vidic handball and the owen foul. United didn't create any meaningful attempts on goal, that is why they lost not due to the decisions.

why does it matter , i dont always come on here because im on the arsenal mania forums?
 
Yeah but even if UTD get the title you have had plenty of decisions go your way this year aswell so its all swings and round abouts, Or are you thinking same way as Fergie "Nothing ever goes our way rant rant rant banned fined"

No he isnt (which is why I said it was unlikely) :)

I know what you mean - but the problem with Utd resting people is the quality of people coming in to replace them (ie if Shalke manage a goal back before Utd score......) I dont even want to think about that possibility

Mmm. Agree a bit, but not so much about the complaining, I'd just put it down to an odd moment personally.

Sheffield Wednesday should bounce back :D Season ended ages ago for us, just pleased to have the steel city battle to look forward to next season.

Still, for a team in the third level of English football we still get more fans then a team in the top level :o
