***SPOILERS*** Football 30 Apr - 2 May 2010/2011

hehe :D

Looking at what Leeds, Millwall and Norwich have done this season, gives me hope as a Charlton fan (whenever we finally get out of this two bob kick n rush league) :p

Ah a cafc fan! Have a good mate who's a season ticket holder and both fixtures this season were good fun :)

Parkey was an idiot with the signings and the way the team played at the start of the season, but with Powell building a winning league one team for next season you should follow up next year, dont see either Sheffield teams, S'thorpe or Preston bouncing back, so it'd be the best opportunity.

So a Norwich win tonight will secure them promotion? I feel a bit sorry for Cardiff even though they're Welsh, they're bigger bottlers than Arsenal. :p

Cheers mate ;)

Yeah just hope Powell is the right man for us, loved him as a player here but I am still not entirely convinced. Lets see what he does in the summer, apparently we have a £4m warchest.

I should have edited that, you can't call £4m a warchest nowadays but saying that if you can't get out of League One with £4m theres something wrong, We'll see.

Yep, if we win tonight we are 4 points clear of Cardiff with a game to go. Fantastic stuff.

I have admitted as much. If you're only going to come in here occasionally (i.e. when Arsenal win) then you might as well take the time to read what people have posted.

how do i come in here when arsenal only win , ive been in here plenty when arsenal have lost:confused: , does not mean i have to post.

"On the ball City"

Good luck I hope you get promoted ;)

Unless something spectacular happens we will go back down again mind. We are performing at a level miles higher than a sum of our parts... and 18 points this season have come from goals after the 89th min. Which is a truly silly statistic.

Reminds me of most Millwall's wins last season "late goals" but who cares mate a win is a win.

You're about to kick off now, should be a good game. Good luck ;)

4m spent wisely is more than enough to get out of this league, you'll be laughing come the end of next season :D

Norwich should seal promotion with a gift like that from Borough this evening too

Well Norwich should be winning, Portsmouth should be down to 10 and yet the game is still nil-nil and 22 players on the pitch.

Atleast after Boro winning there isn't as much pressure on us to get 3 points here.

EDIT: Hreidarsson and Mokoena are both lucky boys, both should perhaps be off the pitch by now.

Cheers I hope so :D

Looking at where you live, wondering what team you support? MK Dons? Brentford?

Im actually from near(ish) to MK, sort of between Bedford and Northampton too, but a big saints fan after years of hanging around with a mate who got me into them. (plus a real hatred for the franchise of mk dons). The St Albans (and old Belfast) locations are more temporary places as its pretty easy to get to Southampton games from around here

Christ every time I see that Mokoena tackle it looks worse and worse, how the **** can you give that a yellow card?

Two feet off the ground no where near the ball with no intention of doing anything but bringing the man down.

Kanu is still 34? That's impossible.

I think he gave up ageing a good few years ago, as he has seemed to spend many MANY years in his 30's...
