It was a perfectly good tackle. It just looked bad. Pennants reaction wasn't needed.

lol everyone needs to see this and just wind up Whilshire from now on. Just get into him at the start of the game, then call him a little fag in his ear and he'd easily lose his head.

Barely touched the player with his feet though, it was the follow through and his body that made pennant go over.

Should've been sent off against us for a studs up challenge on Mascherano at the start of the season. Seems to get a lot of protection because he's English and 'the next best thing'. Having said that, he's exactly what Arsenal need in the centre, someone who isn't afraid to get stuck in.

It makes no difference. You can't go into challenges with your studs showing.

He could have easily been sent off for that challenge and for the one on Whitehead in the first half too.

Why doesn't Wenger take him off? Pulis took off Pennant as soon as he was carded and looked a bit fired up.
