***SPOILERS***(Real) Football 01-05 Apr 2010/2011

Berbs hasn't really been played much because he's not looked the same Berbatov as before, additionally his goal scoring record away from home hasn't been much IIRC.

Chico played I think it was about 140 minutes of International football, and arrived back 2 maybe 1.5 days ago, it's hardly surprising he isn't starting is it?

EDIT: Wayne did, yes.

Lol this game is good for a neutral to watch really dont understand why Fergie didnt start Nani and Hernandez tbh.

But all loses to teams in top 5 suits me as means more of chance we climb up to 5th :D

Berbatov may be top scorer but haven't just about all his goals come from home games?

United look flat there's no spark or creativity really quite poor. They were lucky to go as long as they did unbeaten there hasn't been a stand out team all season all have been below usual standards which has meant it really is quite an unpredictable season for once.

'cause they're injured and not fit, innit. Same reason you know, don't start players.

Chicharito only got back yesterday after playing two internationals

Dont know why a home victory is a surprise given Man Utd's hitory here

Berbatov doesn't often score away from home, frankly because utd as a team have been playing like turd away from home all year, they actually attack and give him the ball at home and he is incredibly influencial, away from home no one actually gives him the ball.

If Utd played the same formation/gameplan even close to how they play at home Berbatov would have scored a bunch away from home aswell.

Thing is people expect him to score, again his best years at Spurs he wasn't a high scorer, he picked the ball up, turned and created chances for others, sure he's scored a lot more this year, but thats still not the main part of his game. Honestly Berb's should be the first name on the team sheet, his touch, his class simply never deserts him, its the other players who change completely away from home.

But then, how I mean, its completely incomprehensible how Utd are top when they play Gibson/Carrick/Fletcher so often.

Berbatov has scored 4 away from home all season.

I'll stop with entertaining the whole line up debate now as it's clear there is some absolute insane opinions on here and get back to the actual game.

Never mind it being the topic of discussion a few posts up

Im slack and i refreshed and went straight to page 3 so speed read most of it :P, Anyway out of curiosity does any UTD supporter actually rate Carrick any more?

Not sure if the link will work, head to head, in the league Utd rarely lose here, basically one season they did the double, and years before that there were the funny Di Canio vs the clown moments. West Hams record is horrible against utd, home and away. Bah, too tired to add them up but, I think West Ham have won more at old Trafford in the past decade, they get a decent number of draws at home.

I seem to remember some thing saying Vela for the Mexico internationals traveled something mental like 15k miles in the past week, so Hernandez probably does deserve a break, everyone else, don't see it frankly. Chances of beating, Barca, Inter, Real even in the champs league, low to none, I'd have played a strong team and piled the pressure on Arsenal.
