***SPOILERS***(Real) Football 01-05 Apr 2010/2011

United fans can moan all they want about bad decisions against them but you have just had a massive one go your way

lol, how on earth is that not a red, ridiculous, pathetic reffing, they are both 10 yards ahead of the other defender and they are both also 15 yards across the pitch from Ba.

I do find it how everyone loves Vidic, yet he gets caught out doing rugby tackles more often than Caragher, and WAY more than any other two CB's in the league.

Ba wasn't even close to having control of the ball and he was running away from the goal. It was never going to be a red.

Christ. Referee feeling sorry for United then? Two down and should have had a man off, well up **** creek.

Not that I would have complained had he been sent off but how could that be deemed a goalscoring opportunity when Ba never had control of the ball and was running away from the goal?

No surprise the game is going the way it is.

Away from home, Gibson, Park, Valenica and Giggs playing.
You can carry one, mabye two of them away from home, but all four of them giving the ball away, over hitting crosses, conceeding fouls and generally not being very good, you just cant carry.
Gibson off, Giggs off, Nani and Berbatov/Hernandez on, and just punt it into that crap West Ham defence.

Ba wasn't even close to having control of the ball and he was running away from the goal. It was never going to be a red.

He wasn't on the goal line running towards the flag, the ball was running into the box, he was FAR closer than the keeper, the ball wasn't moving that fast, no one else had a hope in hell of beating him to it, its not a red only if the balls traveling directly to the goal.

If Utd hadn't had two penalties given against them already you can be pretty certain that would have been a red, and its normally those types of awful decisions that end up costing them a game. Odds on Vidic scoring a goal later i in the game now?

Last man?

Makes no difference. The rule isn't whether you're the last man or not. It's whether you're denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. The fact that Ba never had control of the ball and was running away from goal, I can't see how it can be deemed that Vidic denied a clear goalscoring opportunity.
