**SPOILERS** The Football League Cup 2010/2011 Final

what game did you watch?

brum deserved that win. Never mind the injustice of the prno and red card the arsenal keeper should have gotten
What penalty and red card call?

It's nice to see a medium-sized club to lift a trophy, but to be fair the stats and the lay of the game easily say that while Birmingham weren't quite out of it they were still on the back foot for the larger proportion of the game.

Well done Brum, no offence but did you **** deserve that. Well played Ben Foster.

Unfortunately shots on goal mean absolutely nothing.

Its no good being bitter in defeat, the only people you can blame are the Arsenal players and manager (for not buying a proper defender).

Just look at how Inter turned over Barcelona.

Brum definitely deserved that, played brilliantly. At least they got the result they wanted, could have had two penalties and 10 men to play against.

Still hilarious though.

It was Koscielnys fault imo, the defender is there to clear the ball, you can tell the way he went to hooof it he had had a shout from the keeper.

In that situation you want your keeper to come out, shout for it and then collect the ball.

lol what?

Well done Birmingham.

Really?

Come on now, use your noggin.

Ok first of all, I'm not denying at the end of the day you need to get the ball in the back of the net. They did that twice. Fair play no arguements. It's fairly typical of Wenger's time here at Arsenal and the sides we have. Dominance, and then losing at the end. Not just games, but entire league campaigns. But:

But did we pillage them for almost all the game? Yes.
Were they against the ropes for far longer than we were. Yes.
Did Ben Foster, their keeper have a MOTM performance? Yes.
Was their goal a total fluke, against the run of play? Yes.

There's no way they deserved a winner like that right at the very death.

If you can't beat Birmingham over 90 minutes you'll never win a cup.

Even though they had a good game and Foster was MOTM, that's ridiculous from Arsenal.

Should you have had a sending off and possibly two penalties against you? Yes

Of course they did, if you're defending half way up the pitch and you get caught out by a long ball it's your own fault, yeah your goalkeeper gave it to them on a plate but **** happens, they should have a had a penalty and you should have had 10 men as well remember.

Arsenal are seriously lacking a finisher. They can pass and pass and pass and give a first class through ball, but there's no-one to finish. They just seem to end up like the Chuckle Brothers in front of goal...
