Spurs ask for game to be replayed

Results of the samples just came up on SSN.
Says sample 1 (whoever that is) shows that the virus was contracted before Spurs arrived at the hotel and that it is a highly contagious virus and would be easily spread.
So it looks like only 1 of the players got the virus and spread it around the team in the hotel.

I wonder if Spurs could be sued by the hotel for saying it was food poisoning?
slander (possibly spelt wrong)
/Edit
IIRC they never said the food poisoning was from the hotel food so i doubt it.

The virus which is called 'Norovirus' is the same one that is often blamed for the so called 'Winter vomiting' or 'Winter Sickness' bug that has caused the closure of many Hospital Wards and Schools over the last few Christmas periods.

95% of claimed food poisoning cases turn out to be nothing of the kind. It more often than not takes between 24 & 48 hours after the contaminated food stuff is ingested before symptoms are realised. Most people blame illness on the last thing they ate, a good Environmental Health Officer will actually ask you what ate in the previous 2 days because that is where it will have likely come from, if food realated.

I had food poisoning a few weeks back.
Got it from Darlington football club of all places at a works presentation do thingy.
Ate at lunchtime on the wednesday , ill at 5am friday.
27 people from work were off on the friday.

Useless information for you there.

Not useless at all, a good indication of the time period needed for symptoms of 'real' food poisoning to show.

Do you know what bacteria or virus they isolated as the culprit?
