Spurs sack Poch

It is but reading between the lines he lost the dressing room. Unfortunately player power is too much these days and who would want to take up the role now? Especially with 5 key players all leaving on freebies come the summer

They have Harry Kane, plenty of managers will want the job. The ones who want to leave may change their mind now.

1 win away this calender year, lower league form this year...they lost 13 games in the league last season...13!

Makes sense tbh

edit.

Spurs forums say they have taken 24 points from the last 25 games domestically.

Unbelievable stuff Jeff. Shame we aren’t on the look out for a new manager. Would take Poch over Ole in a heartbeat.

You have to wonder just how tolerant Utd, Barca, Real and maybe even PSG will now be with Ole, Valverde, Zidane & Tuchel now Poch is available. All 4 are likely to be in for a new manager in the not too distant future anyway, can they afford to miss out on Poch?

Wouldn't be shocked if Poch ends up at Bayern though.

I can see a domino effect about to happen, Mourinho is after a job, Benitez is after a job, might Utd prefer Poch over Ole? Will Poch return to Spain and if so, does that put Zidanes position on a wobble

I'm absolutely gutted that he's gone, I'd rather have swapped half the squad than him leaving - a lot of them will probably leave at the end of the season anyway.

I'd much rather Rafa is brought in than Mourinho, that's if either will want the job.

Poch is very close to a lot of those players

if he takes a top job abroard watch him dismantle the spurs team and take some big names with him

This gets said all the time but never happens. I'd question which of Spurs' better players he's particularly close with too - the issues at Spurs are seemingly a complete breakdown of the whole 'team' mentality Poch had built up.

This is a terrible football decision that will be heavily compounded if Mourinho is appointed.

We have a bunch of toxic players who will leave in the summer but were the backbone of the team. Poch identified this and asked for it to be fixed during the summer...it wasn't.

Poch gets sacked and we seem to be thinking about appointing a dull and defensive manager with no pedigree of working with youth or modern generation of footballers which is exactly what will be available when the core of the team leave.

Mourinho will demand money that Poch could have succeeded with.

Horrific spursy nonsense.
