We've made it to 41-0.
Slow and steady. At tea 83-0.
Now a Cook 50 (53) and 105-0.

Did his job.
He's the best captain we've had for a long time , and a damn good fielder. As long as he contributes with the bat ( and that doesn't even mean centuries ... Regular 40 to 50 is fine) then I'm happy to keep him in the team. I mean if our top order all contributed 40 over the winter then we wouldn't have been quite so embarrassed

England batting sensibly and doing well. Surprising that it takes 4 loses in a row before England batsmen finally go back to basics and stop playing ridiculous sweeps..

I usually mute the TV when he comes on...such a droning voice he has and has a right moan when things arent going Englands way. Probably the worst commentator for cricket at the moment...imho that is.
Good batting by England...only lost the one wicket and put up 154 runs. Hopefully they can go on and make a big first innings total and put SL back under pressure. Should really win this England as long as they bat sensibly.
