The price of things has a habit of changing at sometimes the most unexpected moment. When for example everyone thinks the price will go higher or the price will remain the same and not drop, drop it probably will.
I think by Christmas there will be a big drop in prices, although I doubt a 500gb SSD will be £100 though. I can however see the 160GB units being half the price they are now. It's not new technology anymore, the prices are not justifiable compared to normal HDD (the demand should be dropping if it wasn't for the new technology and 'must have' mindset of the enthsuiasts). Actually, the price can be justified at the moment but the demand is there from enthusiasts only at the current prices.
I also think the £ could do well against the dollar over the coming year, bringing prices down.
All IMO of course
