Stalker 2 just seems like its never going to make it from what I keep reading. The A life system was the main draw for me and from what I have seen S2 has nothing close to it. It's a bummer really. I used to enjoy modding games and playing community builds etc but I don't have as much time anymore.
I really like the idea of S2 but I'd rather spend the time actually playing games now than fixing them.
 
Just finished the game, not actually sure if I ended up being a good or bad guy in the end, the story really is utter pish. But its a kinda fun shooter if a little frustrating at times.

Are most of the game breaking bugs fixed yet? I loved the original Stalker games, but I know not to play them on launch.
 
I didn't come across anything game breaking, few crashes and oddities when i had mods enabled but i can't recall much else.
 
I've stopped playing it (waiting for the fabled RTX update and other improvements), but yeh, in the time I already put in, never had a crash or game breaking bug.

I think I had one crash. But yea, that was on release.

You are going to be waiting a long time for the RT update. Lol.

If it ain't out later this year I think i will just go complete it and be done with it.

Luckily I only paid £25 for it.

I played a Stalker 2, just too much walking, back tracking, kinda boring when the map is so big

A Life and the economy was broken in those games, too, performance was even worse than what we have now and wasn't really scalable since it was single core. Yes, you could mod it, fix some stuff, but can't say it was great from my experience.
Rose tinted glasses and all that.
