Stalker Call of Pripyat Complete Mod

Works perfectly for me at maximum details with DX11.

Looks stunning at places.Loading time is longer, it is about a minute instead of 30 seconds.

Been playing CoP with this and its great, just waiting for steam to put the other two on sale and i'll pick them up to replace my disc versions.....

- SoC starts off average but then quickly becomes great and ends up super awesome.

- Clearsky starts off poor but then becomes awesome for most of the game but then ends poorly.

- CoP starts off average, is awesome in some parts but kind of stays average for the most part and ends poorly.

It's a tie between SoC and Clearsky for me, but I think SoC has more of the magic from the alpha builds that was sort of lost in the final releases. Main problem with CoP is that the maps felt physically smaller, less varied and a bit dull in parts.

I think its a stretch to say SoC ends well... given that the entire last section of the game basically turns into a run n gun that doesn't work properly.

Ok the gameplay wasn't the best, but I thought it wrapped up the story pretty well and wasn't just more of the same. The final scenes inside the NPP just made the game's already sinister atmosphere even more unsettling.

Is anyone working on an Asian MOD for Stalker, or maybe Stalker 2 or 3 can be set in Japan :(

No, I'm not trying to be funny but probably the current chain of events will be recreated in a game some day, with some monsters thrown in.

I still haven't finished SOC yet but looking forward to trying Pripyat with the MOD when I've completed the first one.

Unless the Japanese reactor actually goes into meltdown then no, it won't ever be recreated. There have been numerous 'nuclear' events, Chernobyl is the only 1 with widespread knowledge and/or significance because of the shear scale of the catastrophe.

I know you're not trying to be funny but I do think you're being a little insensitive & that you haven't understood what made the STALKER games such a fertile imaginative setting.
Shadow of Chernobyl was created many years after the Chernobyl diasaster by a Ukranian development team. It was essentially made by combining an existing russian language "sci-fi" story with the setting of the diasaster. Chernobyl (pre-diasaster) was actually used as a background set in the 1979 film that came between the book & the game.
What I'm saying is that what made the chernobyl setting interesting and complex was a combination of cultural works & real history, all developed locally (ish) over a fairly extended period of time.

I don't think the simple presence of a nuclear leak is enough to make a full setting (otherwise we might have 3 mile island and windscale games).
Not trying to tell you off in some way, just saying.
