Bet the US liberal left is delighted by this. I can imagine a bit of retaliation coming from this. More fuel on the fire.

You have zero evidence the guy is a criminal.

I have now btw.. I did a quick search and found the following:

multiple arrests including "AGGRAVATED BATTERY DOMESTIC", "RESISTING ARREST W/VIOLENCE", "POSSESSION OF COCAINE", "SALE OR DELIVERY OF COCAINE"....

I'm not surprised. I guess you are though since you took issue with me stating I wouldn't be?

I'd also not be surprised to learn the old guy was an NRA member.

If someone was shouting at the mother of my children, they'd be on the floor immediately.

We don't really know who is shouting in the clip, could just as well be him being the typical busy body type talking down to her and her responding with the old "Oh hell no..." etc.. maybe both got heated, maybe he was the only one shouting or maybe she was.

It isn't like he's leaning against the window or trying to open the door or anything, there doesn't appear to be an immediate threat for the boyfriend to deal with but just an argument.

If some 175 pound guy, 6 feet tall guy pushed him to the ground I am not at all surprised to see him pull a gun and ensure no further physical assault from him. Another American drug dealing criminal finds himself with a bullet hole in him, what a surprise. No tears here.

If someone pushed you over, but then just stood at a safe distance posing no further threat, you'd still shoot them out of anger? This is why people shouldn't be allowed guns.
How do you know that the guy that just pushed you over isn’t also armed and possible about to pull his own gun out? Just because he has stepped back doesn’t automatically mean they pose no further threat.

I don’t think the person you quoted said they would shoot them out of anger. Usually, I’d imagine, in situations like this it is done out of fear rather than anger. What’s that again just got to see him

Were you born with a heart of stone or did it grow over the years?

Not sure, but reading the guy's criminal record and watching that video gave me a buzz, as does this news:

Letter from Home Secretary reveals he will not "formally oppose" the pair being sent to Guantanamo Bay

The Sun

HOME Secretary Sajid Javid will not block the execution of ISIS Beatles pair nor the possibility of them being sent to Guantanamo Bay, secret documents have revealed.

According to a letter from Mr Javid to the US Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the minister says Britain will "demand no assurances" on the death penalty for Alexanda Kotey and Shafee El-Sheikh.

Have you been to London lately?

I had to assume he was either posting from abroad or never left the house, nor watched or read any news :)

I doubt they are going to get any sympathy except from the most extreme of luvvies :p

This is just another reason why it being legal to carry a gun in certain states is a terrible idea, as every confrontation has a potentially deadly outcome. People make bad decisions when under stress and their ego is threatened.

Or the converse, people make bad decisions when assaulting someone in States where people are carrying firearms, of course.

He was pushed then fell over and the aggressor didn't pose any further threat for a good few seconds before he pulled the gun out. Then instead of just telling him to back off he shot him in cold blood. American laws are crazy.

The guy likely thought he was reaching for his gun. You can see in the video that he keeps reaching down to pull his shorts up, it happened earlier in the video and he picked a really bad time to do it again before the shooter.

Now reaching for your shorts is a really bad idea in America, the Police over there will not think twice about shooting you if you reach down there.

Seems to be least 3 seconds or so before he shoots him, takes his gun out, aims and shoots while the guy is turning and backing away.

I personally think he had enough time to decide this guy is no longer a threat and shouldn't had shot him, but that's me.

I suspect the shooter was in a fight or flight response so that affected his thinking process.

Anyway, I personally think he should be charged with a lesser charge of manslaughter or some degree.

One thing this video does prove, instructions on gun usage and training in situations like this should be an requirement before you allowed to carry a concealed gun.

You need it to drive a car, you should need it for a gun.

This is just another reason why it being legal to carry a gun in certain states is a terrible idea, as every confrontation has a potentially deadly outcome. People make bad decisions when under stress and their ego is threatened.

More guns, more people, more problems, I agree, but personal protection is a right that every human should have.

Once the gun was pulled there was clearly time to decide if he was at more risk. Did the other guy move towards him? No.
Therefore he wasn't at immediate risk and should be charged with killing someone.

Self defence is one thing - shooting someone in that situation is very very different. The fact this person has threatened to shoot someone in the past for parking there says it all.

But the police dept cant do anything as it would prove American gun laws are wrong...

Belts, that's what they need, good tight belts..... ;)

Would likely save a lot of black men being shot, their culture of "snagging" with their pants dropping down and their ass on show has gotten them shot.

In hindsight, the shooter likely made the correct choice with a person with this sort of history.
