Nay.

Windows becomes sluggish on this rig after a day of hard use. ( memory leaks, e.t.c. )

PC off when not in use, monitor off when away for extended periods. The environment loves me :p

My pc stays on for days at a time, sometimes with the occasional restart, I wen through a hibernate spell a while back but now i just Turn her off when needs be!

Yep. Use it all the time, when I turn the laptop off, but it's quite rare that it's off. It stays on all the time as I can't hear it.

I used to use standby all the time, but then it started messing my computer up so I stopped using it. My friends use it on their laptops all the time.

yay - I use it on my Desktop. At Uni I'm in and out of my room all the time and it's easier to put it into standby. When I return, I press the "on" button and I'm ready to go in about 2 seconds.

I use S3 standby because it powers off everything including fans where as S1 does not.

1. Yay

Started using it the other day (S3) - felt how man did when he discovered fire :o

The real question really is, who uses Hibernate? I quite think its of no use (especially wanting to take my precious disk space)

Use it all the time on my laptop, think it goes into hibernate after about half an hour of standby anyway. Stupid thing takes aaaaaaaaages to load up from scratch so standby is far more convenient.

I use it (S3 standby) on my desktop all the time. It doesn't make any noise when on standby, and then when I turn it back on it comes up within 5-10 seconds. I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't use it!
