I don't use it at all.

I think it's a bit sad that some people leave their computers on through the night because they think it will save the components and save them waiting 30 seconds - don't you have the slightest respect for the environment or your electricity bills?

i hope that was tongue in cheek, it only makes a few quids difference to electricity bills, and the ease of use is definitely worth it.

Boiling the kettle a few times a day will make far more difference than leavin your pc on. Are tea/coffee drinkers lacking respect for the environment? once on pcs use barely any leccy, especially with the screens turned off

Nope - I tend not to turn the pc off although the OH half will if there's nothing downloading.

yes, sometimes i use my PC to heat the room when the parents don't want the heating on.

this one time, i was sleeping at a mates house, and i had my Pc there, but it was really cold, so i woke it from S3 and put Prime95 on, and did a torture test, same with ATitool for the graphics card.
