Star Citizen 'Free Fly' event

Not sure where to begin, but its pretty clear you havent got a clue what you're talking about, and either cant read and comprehend simple sentences, or you're intentionally being deceitful and taking things out of context to fit an agenda.
"Agenda"??!!
Oh, right, you're one of *those*.... I'm sorry, I didn't know.

Here is my "agenda":
They give me something. It doesn't do what they say it should. It therefore sucks and I now doubt the decision to chuck a load of money in early on. That is all.

Now get off your high horse, put away your tinfoil hat and deal with the fact that people aren't all gushing fanboys like you - We just want it to do what it says on the box. We don't care to, and certainly should not have to, read a thousand pages of forum posts on which Devs were sick and which ones have been on hiliday or getting married, whether there were power cuts or whatever other ******** excuse RSI have for not delivering a piece of work on time and working as they said it should, just to find out whay it doesn't work - Why is irrelevant, what they do, who they are and all that ****e is irrelevant - End of the day, it does not work. That is all.

I don't care if it's the most basic of pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-Alpha releases - If it merely comprises a red light that they say should go green and it doesn't, then it doesn't work.
I don't care if their kitten died, or if Sandy Gardiner got a hundred job offers from Hollywood (she's a top actress, you know...;)), I am not here to pander to their excuses - I am here to playtest their game and if it don't play like it should, then they fail the test.

In the last 4 months, you're saying Elite released 2 major updates
Am I really?
So not in a time period of four months, as the text actually states, but in those specific last four months, yeh?
Making things up now, are you? What's YOUR agenda, then? :p

And yes, 2 major updates. Likely more, but I wasn't in the Alpha. The Beta, however, was forever getting updates. Fixes to major assets took hours before release, while RSI take weeks to patch even the smallest of things... and even then, the patches not only still come out late but not all of them even work.

Rebellion supposedly created 2 'almost complete' games too (sniper replica titles? really thats your 2nd comparison?)
Actually, it was Rebellion's ability to demonstrate that they had achieved more on AVP dev in a tenth of the time than Gearbox did with A:CM that earned them the SEGA's publishing backing.

What a load of pathetic fabricated waffle with zero relevance even if any of it was even close to being true, and i think a pet rock is capable of identifying that it isnt.
You have a pet rock?
Explains a lot...

Thanks for highlighting that again.
Welcome.
Soooooo... tell us more about everyone else's "agendas" again. It's also sounding very 'rule-of-thumby'.

Nice rant, Pretty safe to say that crowd funding isn't for you.

ttaskmaster congratulations on telling someone to get off their high horse whilst clambering up your own ;)

It's only an in-dev game guys...chill.

Why do you say that? I'm crowdfunding a few games, as well as this one.
I honestly don't care that the game isn't finished yet. I know this - I just expected that, when they say it does do something, it does it, however small that something is... and that if it doesn't do it, I am allowed to say, "Meh, it's currently broken".

If by 'crowdfunding', you mean I am not the right sort of person to put up with gushing fanboys telling me what my opinion and personal experiences SHALL be... then yes, you may have a point.

If by 'crowdfunding', you mean I will have my "agenda" challenged when it turns out I'm not as utterly impressed and awestruck by an in-progress project as other people, or if I dare offer any kind of criticism... then yes, you may have a point.

As stated before, I am perfectly content to wait for this game to be finished and released, whereupon I shall play it. In hindsight, I feel I did jump on the hype bandwaggon very early and now regret it quite a bit, but that was the choice I made. Doesn't mean I'm not allowed to dislike what I find, though.

Either way, no biggie.

Yeh, I figured he couldn't hear me from way down there! :D

I know and TBH, I barely give a toss about it at this stage. I just object to the attitude - That's the sort of response I'd expect from GD on the RSI forum, where I do believe it is a publicly-lynchable offense to even think about a GIG staff member in the wrong way!! :D
