May 30th release. Anybody else quite excited for it? I'm thinking this might be the game that gets me to buy touch controllers, because it just looks awesome. Dat original bridge!

Obviously I'll wait for reviews first, but it ticks all the boxes for me: seated experience with no motion sickness issues, coop, and a beloved franchise brought to life in VR.

Yep, massively looking forward to this. Intrigued to see how well the voice command stuff works for the AI crew.

Honestly, buy Touch, and don't worry about motion sickness - there is plenty of stuff that doesn't require artificial locomotion. A friend who is a vertigo sufferer bought a Rift after trying mine. While he can't play games with artificial locomotion (he feels ill within seconds), teleport based games give him zero problems, and he can happily play stuff like Robo Recall, Rec Room, Dead and Buried etc.

Yeah I'm fine with most cockpit based games (although f1 cars on nurburgring are a one way ticket to lying down), but have been holding off on touch purely on the basis that the games that required them didn't appeal to me strongly enough (eg wave shooters and the like). This, on the other hand, looks exactly what I like. I presume there will be a lobby system where you can join randoms, because solo bridge with AI seems like a massive disadvantage from what most early previews have said.

I've got vertigo (not seriously, but i suffer more than when I was a kid, it developed) and VR is actually helping by putting me in situations

This game does look appealing but no chance of finding 4 other players i know...does it match you with real players online in a co-op mode? that could be cool

I think Ubisofts undoubtable high price point will be a factor. There will be those that don't buy because of it, and probably a ripple effect of people not buying in fear low to nobody being about.

If it's less than £40 I'll probably buy. The temptation to roll off startrek meme's whilst playing is just too overwhelming.:)

Really? People that have purchased a VR headset and a high end Pc to go with it , wont buy a game thats £40+?

its less than £40 on PS4 surely it cant be expensive on PC. OMG the graphics look crap on PS4. The player stances are hideous all their arms are out at the sides like marionettes. (bit like Kris from Bladerunner)

Game have it for £49.99 on PC they are either using the PS4 screenshots or its a poor port.

Based on comments over the last 6 months on steam reviews, and on reddit, then very much so. If people don't see the value, then there voting with their feet. I now hold that opinion, the days where id buy anything and everything are gone.

I bought the touch controllers, purely with this in mind (they arrive tomorrow so looking forwards to trying them out on other titles too).
