Star Trek Bridge Crew

Yup, picking this up on day 1. Hope it lives up to expectations, can't wait. Also have an i7 so I should get all the eye candy.

I would quite have liked it somehow though if they put in 'advanced controls' that look more realistic to the aesthetics of the fiction. In that way, the original enterprise bridge makes more sense.

These a Sub on Reddit. Bridge Crew will give you the knowledge. But yes, online with random players in cross play, grouped friends ect..

Fingers crossed this works, the more I see of it, the greater the desire.

The game was available to buy earlier on the Ubisoft website for Oculus. Lots of people were able to get a few hours of play time before they shut the servers down. Initial reports are that it's pretty good. :)

£32ish with ubi points, not bought a VR game for a while so may well purchase.

Karaks verdict is, "Absolutely a buy", high praise indeed from my go to non-biased game reviewer.

Purchased for £32 using ubi points... sitting in my steam library now, I just wish we could pre-load!

My dad is also a massive fan of Star Trek, grew up with TOS. Gonna try it out first to figure out the best way to completely surprise him with the original Enterprise :D

If you have a Rift it's better to pay full price and buy it from the Oculus store. It currently doesn't support the Oculus SDK in Steam so your limited to Steam VR which is lower performance etc.

That might explain why the oculus version isn't on the ubi website

Exactly how bad would it be if I didn't get the oculus version?

Just picked up my copy...£35.

From the reviews etc it looks to be a must buy for vr owners even if you don't like star trek they say its great.

I wounder if we will get a star wars game with similar gameplay? Flying around in the millenium falcon.
