Same boat as you but watching all Star Trek in release order, up to season 7 of TNG and just waiting for it to wrap up. Really miss some kind of arc to keep a series going. It’s way better than TOS but boy does a 23+ episode season have some right filler episodes.

First time watching anything Star Trek other than the JJ films and I’m really enjoying it. Not a patch on BSG so far though.

How long has it taken you to get to S7 of TNG? I'm 2 eps away from finishing S3 and a little ST fatigued!

Just shy of 3 months, I've binged a few other programs in between to break it all up as I go. Thats everything from the TOS, movies, and TNG, only skipped the animated series.

You and anyone else doing watch-throughs might consider watching TAS's "Yesteryear" - it's well-written and provides some backstory for Spock.

I still have my copies of Armada 1&2 for PC from when they came out. Not that I can play them anymore lol. I'll take a new game though.

Finished S3 of Discovery, and starting the 4th season this weekend. Then onward to S1 of Picard.

It's been 9 years and still haven't finished S1 of the TNG. They had some really bad episodes in there.

S4 of Discovery - the CIA use this instead of water boarding.

S1 Picard - episodes: great > meh, meh, meh. S2 not much better, but S3? Wow! So, so good.

S1 TNG - Like you tell your Mrs, "Lay back, grit your teeth, think of something else and you'll get through it as quick as you can".

Maybe instead of picard i'll watch S1 of SNW instead.

Some people say to skip Picard 1 and 2, just to get to 3. But i enjoyed them all, especially 3. As for SNW, REALLY enjoyed this and S2 starts in 5 days.
