Star Trek Online

Tip, dont take rewards from fountain if their rubbish just cancel and keep retrying tho give it 10 secs or so to change if it becomes non changing for a lot of trys then change instance or leave esd and return and it should start cycling through more goodies.

Also its a bit buggy as i clicked on take all when their was a pet targ i did ask ppl if feds could use em and they said yes so i took em but i didnt get unless if i switch to a klingon i have it free in c-store but i doubt it. So pick wisely.

Neat tip, will keep that in mind :)

According to the devs, the BO's you can get (Borg, holo etc.) are different to those in the c-store. So technically you could have a fountain Borg BO and a c-store Borg BO :)

It would help if the skill/level cap was removed. I'm adverse to playing missions if they don't add to my char LOL

Agreed. The devs, however, have said this will never happen. A real shame. It does feel kind of pointless doing missions now. Tried one of the player generated missions, but had to quit halfway through. Now back at the beginning. Will see what the mission this weekend is like, but can't see me resubbing when it runs out in March.

If people make klingon specific or universal missions

many seem to be UFP only.

lol, most everything released seems to be either UFP only or available to both - i.e. the Klingons never really catch up. They often discuss releasing a new faction, but I can never see this happening without a lot of complaints.

Haven't been on Tribble for a while, is there anything big on the way?

Many people say that the Klingons are overpowered - don't believe this, they really aren't. The problem is the fact that most of their game IS PvP, whilst feds get to max level with really easy missions. They then get to PvP and think they can shoot at random, with their eyes closed and win. I gave up on PvP a long time ago, the feds just don't get it.

Edit: Oh JGBR :p

Feds need to stick together and work as a real team in pvp i think.

That is exactly what the Klingons do. They concentrate on one target at a time. The feds just go off and do their own thing (and then get killed and post on the forums that the Klingons are OP)

The problem is, everytime someone complains, Cryptic jump all over it and make the change. Someone complains again and they change it back. This is why Star Trek Online is progressing so slowly, most of the time we are just going in circles. For example, they are working on the cryo grenade griefing at the moment - it is frustrating, I just want the foundry on holodeck!

Oh that was hliarous yesterday. Everytime someone complained about getting cryo grenaded, everyone would turn around and do exactly that. Even my PC was slowing down :p - it was even better when the guy was PMing me and I was just replying "wasn't me". It passed the time while waiting for the new mission anyway. Probably helped the server crash too. Apparently the login queues were back yesterday - haven't seen that much interest since release. Of course, they have probably assigned a lot of the server to Champions Online now that it is F2P.

The problem with both Champions and Star Trek Online, is that the population is too low to give a good selection of groups/fleets. I have thought about it before, but most fleets are inactive. You could try a big one like Omega or 12th fleet. Any other is or soon will be empty. The problem is made worse by the fact that most of the game is solo play.

My understanding is that you can apply a standard edition and special edition of the game and the time will stack. You can't, for example, add two standard edition copies and have the time stack. As JGBR said, gamecards to stack (and are still pretty cheap on G2play).
