Star Trek: Picard

Flippin' awesome, really enjoyed that.

They even did a special opening credit which was very nice

President Chekov?!

That's a big cube!

And I will make it a threesome - lol

Oh God, he's saying goodbyes, this doesn't bode well....

Oooh she's pretty - eeek!

Seriously? Star wars trench run? Data was enjoying himself though - lol

BSG air drop and transport out - very cool!

Worfs tired.

Transport purge - called it!

No last cameo? Disappointed no Janeway :(

Kirks body - thought something may have come off this - guess not.

Tea, medals and promotions for everyone - huzzah!

Oooooh, spin off with Q!

Now that was a fitting end for the Next Generation Enterprise crew.

It could have been better but after the last two completely disjointed seasons I can't really get too irritated with the hamfisted nature of how it fit together for this season.

Does feel like the whole series has basically culminated in a free transwarp conduit as there was certainly no memorial for the many hundreds/thousands of dead officers and an entire star base that miraculously had zero damage to it, they better at least use it for storytelling...

I watched about 20 mins last night but I want to savour this last episode as this could be the last of good Trek. I'm watching the rest on Saturday with my partner. Apart from quite heavy exposition, one slightly off episode, this has been a very good series.

I will fight anyone who says that's not the best episode of a Star Trek. That was incredible.

If course it needed all the heritage and nostalgia to give it a platform to be that good, but hot damn. I think I shouted "yes!" at the telly 3-4 times.

Oooo that was a 10.
