Star Trek: Picard

I don't know where we're at with this now, I have watched episode 3 and then kind of forgot about it. Probably best I watch it when all episdoes are available and I can do a binge. So is it finished now? And if so, did it end as good as it started?

errm, you need to watch S2 before S3 really , otherwise you will be confused

Why? They literally jettison everything from the first two seasons except for two things. As long as you have a working knowledge of the TNG characters, with maybe enough voyager knowledge to know the one character transplanted from there you'll be fine.

In what way? I skipped season 2 and had no issues at all.

All I gather that happened is that Seven and Raffi became a couple.
I can see it not being too bad but a few scenes have a different feel if you have not seen Season 2. Like the scene at the end of Season 3 half way though the end credits of the finial has a different feel to it if you watched what happened at the end of Season 2. That scene doesn't work as well unless you have knowledge about Season 2. I would say season 3 is watchable standalone but there are a lot of small links to seasons 2 like the bar scenes and others which make season 3 better if you first watched Season 2.

I just finished season 3, thoroughly enjoyed, only watch a part of season 1 and never bothered to watch season 2, yet I had no issues understanding this season.

After the god awful first season I was not going to watch this but after all the good praise it got I put some time aside and glad I did. I can’t remember the last time a show jump this much in quality.

I was surprised to see that it was really a sequel to DS9 events with the TNG crew, something they only really paid lip service too but now we have the TNG crew in the circumstance create by the dominion war and the they paid off so much more as well.

Just finished season 3 and have to say this is what I wanted season 1 to be like. Some brilliant touches and many memorable moments. On the whole I loved it and a fitting end. (of sorts :))

PS. Special mention to the music score and a great idea to combine the wonderful First Contact score and original TNG for the credits.

Finally got around to watching season 3 , really enjoyed it up untill episode 9 then went a bit meh.
The flashback scene where Riker first met data , couldnt believe how young they looked but then again it was nearly 40 years ago.
Liked the captain of the Titan and Vadic (great one liner from her when she died).
