Star Trek question!

theres not 1 ship that can go past warp 9.9 , borg can go faster with trans warp gates , not sure why you can't all i can remmber is the OGS crew in a bird of prey going round the sun ay 9.9 to go back in time

I'm sure that the max you could travel at was warp 9.9r. But then again, 9.9r = 10 :D

They did definitely go to warp 13 in "all good things", but that was a pretend future from what I recall. Only Paris and Janeway went to actual warp 10. If you go to warp 10, you occupy every single place in the universe at the same time, hence the weird effect

I love Star Trek, but I never knew why the Borg didn't time travel before the attack in First Contact - do it from their homeworld then travel the necessary distance and bingo assimilate Earth around the time Jesus was around and bingo you have a amazing borg drone.

The borg don't really work, they have thousands of cubes but go though all the effort to time travel... Why not just send 2 cubes or 5 or maybe 100 !

Since the federation can barely defend against one cube the answer is pretty clear, send more cubes.. Stupid writers..

Because Earth is probably a low priority target. Send a cube to try and assimilate, learn their defensive capabilities.. but if they fail, no loss.

If the Borg really wanted a small M class planet assimilated, they could. The federation don't stand a chance against the collective, they're just lucky that the Borg have bigger fish to fry.

Star Trek Generations (Number 7).

Technically she didn't crash it, she was just at the helm at the time it fell out of the sky :D

She can't keep using that excuse!... as she was "at the helm" when the enterprise-E crashed into the Romulan/Reman Warbird in Star Trek Nemesis... She's a bad driver and thats the only excuse/defence thay have for the Insurance company so Piccard don't loose his no-claims "The Captain made me drive!!" :D

Then explain the effort of them sending their queen and using timetravel, why go though that much effort when they can just send in a few cubes and be done with it? The longer they wait the more of a chance the federation has to develop weapons to resist them.. The borg would never be that stupid, but the writers are.

I love star trek but I certainly think they went too far with the borg and voyager just ruinned it completely.

Ive always wondered - when they come to an anomaly which is really wide and thin (as seen by the picture), why do they decide to go around or through it... why not go over it?

For the same reason the ships always aproach each other face to face, it makes the effects shots cheaper to produce.

The Borg have hundreds of Queens. She is required to keep the hive mind in check when the cube is far from Borg space. The time travel was probably done as a last ditch attempt when they knew their sphere was doomed.

Like I said, if the Borg really wanted to assimilate Earth they would, but in the time it takes to send a hundred cubes to Earth, they could have been doing something more efficient, like assimilating a race closer to Borg space that has better technology or something.

The Borg couldn't care less if the federation improve their resistance, don't forget.. Resistance is futile.

:O! Noway! The Borg was a good story and Voyager was a damn good series too. much more exciting than STNG, although DS9 was obviously the best.

Voyager was a good series for the most part except for the episodes involving the borg, went on for longer then it should have though and the quality of the episodes seemed to get worse as the series went on.. I did'nt really like DS9, best thing about it was the defiant and all the battle scenes.

Considering the federation has destroyed a number of there cubes, a borg hub, infected them with a virus and ****** off there queen you would think they might think differently. Really speaking the federation is screwed, unless you beleive the crap the writers come up which try to justify it all which you clearly do.

If I recall itsd actually One Queen spread throughout the fleet!... Each Queen is a different part of the whole (what used to be) Woman, intergrated into another Cyborg Body!....

From TheStarTreker
I created a new opening theme for Star T I created a new opening theme for Star Trek The Next Generation. This time instead of Enterprise-D, I put in Enterprise-E from Star Trek Nemesis. I hope you enjoy it. Well, I created it 3 years ago when I was bored and wanted to try out my editor software that I don't have anymore because I have a better one now.
