theres not 1 ship that can go past warp 9.9

UUUGGGHHH wrong :D Voyager's top speed is warp 9.95, even the Enterprise D could go something like 9.5, enterprise E can do 9.975, quote off wiki:

'Voyager

# Maximum Cruise Speed: Warp 9.95
# Maximum Sustainable Warp Speed: Warp 9.975 (limit of 36 hours maximum)'

Considering the federation has destroyed a number of there cubes, a borg hub, infected them with a virus and ****** off there queen you would think they might think differently. Really speaking the federation is screwed, unless you beleive the crap the writers come up which try to justify it all which you clearly do.

The federation have only destroyed a few cubes, whereas the Borg have assimilated/destroyed a lot of federation ships. In the battle of wolf 359, 39 ships and 11,000 people were destroyed by the Borg. The Borg have tens of thousands of cubes, destroying a few is insigficant, the Borg queen has self destructed more than the federation have destroyed, so it shows how little impact it would have made to their fleet.

Their transwarp hub was a big blow against their invasion force, but the Borg don't have the same nature as us. They don't seek redemption or revenge against damage done to them, they adapt and continue with their objective.

Realistically the federation, and pretty much every species in both quadrants are screwed, and it's only a matter of time until the Borg control the whole galaxy. However it wouldn't make good television, people like to see the enemy defeated and the good to prevail. But we all know deep down the Borg could and should be coming out on top every time.

If I recall itsd actually One Queen spread throughout the fleet!... Each Queen is a different part of the whole (what used to be) Woman, intergrated into another Cyborg Body!....

I think there is one Queen at any one time, but there have been hundreds of versions of her. When one is destroyed, another takes her place.

It's impossible for there to only be, and ever only be one Borg queen as we've seen her get destroyed a number of times throughout Voyager, and at the end of 'First Contact'

The Federation just doesn't have to technology to build a cloaking device. There was one episode in STNG when they had problems with people dying using an experimental cloaking device when they somehow materialised in an asteroid iirc...

The difference between a Romulan and a Vulcan is that they come from different planets silly :D

im not a die hard trekie btw so I could be very wrong :)

the episode was called the pegasus

Universal Translator.

Handy little device which removes the need for the shows creators to have the crew repeatedly having to learn a new language every time they bump into someone new :D
