**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

Trouble is now every bot they introduce replaces a human player who might be conned into buying expensive DLC so they tend not to push BOTS. Thats what killed off Titanfall IMHO.

Yes the pulse rifle is getting really annoying. I`m getting oneshot all over the place. So I jumped on the bandwagon and used one yet everytime I do I never get a oneshot even when I've aimed at the head.

I think there is a new cheat out too as last night in a few games. 4 times it was to be exact I squared off against an opponent gunslinger style and my shots didnt make their health bar go down at all. They didnt have a personal shield either. The last one I chucked a grenade at them and they still head full health.

Also makes you think of the teamwork when I get the rewards for most command points defended : 1

Yet we still won because on Walker Assault Rebels are OP against AT AT.
 
Haz and I played this for a bit after the patch and personally I thought it was much better, less deaths by the dl44 and less homing shot **** etc.

The game had so much potential but I still find it really fun tbh.
 
Is there a new cheat out or something? I had a few games last night and I**** you not 3 games and at least one blatant hacker in each, and I don't mean 'good players' I mean oneshotting everyone across the map etc.
 
Yeah and there is some kind of invulnerable hack too as I shot a few last night and there health didnt move at all. If you go look them up to report them they are all "offline" so def cheats.

Also was on WA Jakku and half way through the game players dropped out leaving 10 v 10. Its not nice with that many people especially if you are rebel.
 
Took some time getting used to the changes, homing shoot doesn't seem worth it now. Also one game on Endor the player count was 8 on imperial and 3 on rebel by the end, was not very fun for either team.

Actually since the patch I've not played on Endor or Hoth bit peculiar only the others.
 
Anybody else finding servers seem rather empty?

For a game with undoubted flaws, I'm surprised how quickly it seems to be going dead on PC at least.... :/

Lack of content, repetitive and shallow gameplay and over priced DLC means only one thing.
Even a Star Wars logo isn't going to polish that ****.

I predict 6 months from now the servers will be ghost towns and EA will nuke them not long after.

How do you know the servers are empty? The gme never tells yu figures.
I like to think it struggles to find empty servers as they are all full... a bit like Battlefield server page but at least you can see that every server is actually full and elect to queue to join.

(or the Battlefront ones might all be empty :))
 
Indeed. There might just be a lot of full servers. 99% of the time i get straight into a full or nearly full game though and i'm not recognising all the same player names all the time :p.

Im still enjoying it. It is good fun to hop in for a blast on it for an hour or so after work. Quite enjoy piloting the starfighters in walker assault, although the rebel fighters shield is a MUCH more useful than the speed boost in the empire fighters.

I quite like hunting the AT-ST's in an x wing or a wing. Horrible when you are on the ground, but so easy to kill when in the air :D
 
I really should uninstall this game to free up some SSD space - keep forgetting I even have it until this thread gets bumped. Pretty much everyone I know IRL who has it stopped playing weeks ago as well.

Shame but that is what happens when you let Dice Stockholm do gameplay features.

You are charging it up right? When fully charged it always one shot kills people as far as i know/have experienced.

To combat it, just don't stand still for too long :p
