There's a lot of haters. It was released somewhat Spartan but that complaint can't be levelled as of today!

I really like it, it's more pick up and play than battlefield but has more depth than something like cod.

Thanks for the feedback, I think I'm going to have to install Origin again :)
 
Had a go at Walker Assault single player last night one go. Had 84 kills. Highest Bot had 24 and that was on the other team. On Regular its really easy although the Bots just managed to scrape it by 5% left on the Walker. Think I could do it next time easy. Playing as a hero I last absolutely ages I was getting bored. They do tend to stay in the open but I have seen Bots going for cover when I fired at them which was neat. Also noticed once you fire at a bot they know where you are and fire at you. Not seen anything daft yet.
Tried going in a X Fighter and the bots are really good at flying. I didnt last long at all.
Okay this was the first time I tried it and I doubt seasoned online players will like it but I am old School Battlefield 1942 single player bots and to me this is a step in the right direction but I am probably in a minority.
 
I can barely hold my own at the moment, although I enjoy the challenge, certainly wouldn't mind some walker assault fun where I have a chance ;).
 
Just bought the game and waiting for it to download now. I've been put off from buying up to now as I don't really bother with online multiplayer and would have preferred a single player campaign. However my brother convinced me that, as a Star Wars fan, it had to be experienced so looking forward to giving it a go...
 
Controller or mouse & keyboard for this game guys? I've started out with the mouse and keyboard which was a bit of challenge with the speed bikes. Only downloaded the game yesterday but I'm curious as to whether to persevere or are you guys using a controller?

I'm using a controller as I play sat on a sofa so a k&m not really practical. I do prefer vehicles though which of course are much better with a controller so it's horses for courses.
