**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

So is the death star DLC going to be included with BOT mode? This game is so confusing , if I can play the death star trench mode in bots and no online (as I hate FPS online mostly as I suck at them) then I'd be willing to get this.

I got the 4 hour demo from Origin and really did enjoy the bot mode in walker assault and fighter squadron as I am a big star wars fan and really just enjoyed the whole shooting x wings, tie fighters and being a storm trooper on hoth etc.. The atmosphere in bot mode was more then enough for me, just wondering if I should just pick up the base game or both base game and season pass from cdkeys.com

I haven't played this since I reached 50 when it first came out. Bought the season pass for £19.99 and loving it. Level cap is now 70 and I'm still in love with squadron and walker mode.

Perfect for pick up play now I'm a family man.


There are a lot of haters but for simple star wars fan blast them its brilliant !
 
Agree with above, the game isn't perfect and I can't stand the fact there is no server browser but for the Star Wars experience it deliver's. It looks and sounds great and scales well on PC hardware.

It looked incredible on my rig, it was butter smooth as well, maxed out. Play it on PS4 and it looks like the entire screen is smeared with Vaseline comparable to the crisp PC image I was getting.

But then a £1200 PC comparable to a £250 console, its not in the same league so have to give some tolerances..

Long as the season pass content works in skirmish mode then I'd be happy to get it now its got a lot more single player content.

Absolutely no need for a £1200 rig. I play it maxed out on my 2009 built i5 with a second hand 7950 graphics card.

Skirmish mode is good but then I prefer offline bots or single player, and yes I know the game runs well on lesser powerful GPU's which is good, I didn't mean you MUST have a £1200 system - seems the game scales well, as my rig just made it look super smooth and incredibly crisp comparable to a PS4 - thats all i was saying.

Same here it was like shooting fish in a barrel! I was much happier switching to online and going 4/13!!! :D

Ah, thank you. Might give the controller a go again then. I would say I can't get any worse but I've started finished around 5th last instead of last so must be slowly getting somewhere! I don't normally bother with online multiplayer apart from the occasional racing game. It sure is unforgiving...
 
How come I've got access to the 'Bespin' expansion pack all of a sudden. I haven't purchases a season pass and only bought the standard version of the game? No complaining - the cloud city maps are pretty cool but are they offering it for free for a limited time or what?
 
Been playing this a lot recently after being initially put off by all the negativity. Only major problem I've found is the Heroes v Villains mode is an FPS lag fest. Everything else runs amazing.

Yeah it's annoying it's happened before and they fixed it and then the bespin update ruined it again! That said I only get the slowdown in my 1060 card. My 1080 doesn't even notice it and I can still run 80 fps, whereas the 1060 dropped to 27. My old 750ti used to drop to 9fps!i love the casual nature of this game. It's far from the best game but it's my favourite.
