You can have 2 item (thermal detonator/jetpack/cycler rifle) and 1 charge thing (ion shot/ion shield) and 1 passive (sharpshooter).

And you can swap to your partners setup, and use their kit, on the spawn screen.
 
Loving what I’m seeing so far on twitch. Not played as I don’t have a system yet. But if this is just a Beta its as Darth would say “impressive” and its only going to get better!

I take it these two maps are very limited just now? I grew up with SW and actually have around £1000 mint original in boxes never played with SW toys from the 70’s and 80s.

Ta, i hadn't clicked on things like shield to unlock them ... have now :)

Shame you can't equip the grenade, rifle and jet pack at the same time.
 
Gave this another go this morning and started getting into it. I was imagining how all the other maps may be, and that it's simplistic nature may be good for a quick blast here and there.

Then after the 3rd or 4th person whose healthbar didnt move when being pounded with headshots, I ragequit, never to return :D
 
Get this crash on startup, I get into the menu but serious artifacts going on.

If I start with alt+enter so it's windowed it works fine, but when I go back to full screen it crashes after a while, any fix?

I'm on a HD 6950.

graphics and sound are awesome

jump pack thing is ace too !

as long as their is enough extra stuff (like not every weapon / card is in the beta) and the other maps / modes are fun then its good

just shame about walker mode balance

Loving the 4 games I've played. and it runs lovely on ultra at 1440 res on 290X, Only issue is there is a BUG with the current AMD drivers causing the game to Lock up and stutter on the loadup screen, not sure it's good for my graphics card as its blinking constantly from RED to GREEN like a flashing light, hopefully this will be patched as it's causing problems for everyone with 290X at the moment and there is no fix.

Dropzone is good fun , I like that you get put right back in to the action when you die but I'm not so sure why they have added an animation as you come back in ? Seems completely pointless as you just want to get back in to the game, seems to be a well balanced mode , I don't think ill play this mode much as Walker Assault its bloody fantastic even if it is very unbalanced, I' was lucky to get in a walker and wow thats so much fun , To me this game is a dream come true and its only going to get better and better over the coming years , the sounds are amazing, this game is sure going to take up way to much of my time.
 
Downloaded it, played a bit, uninstalled it. The SW setting is nice but doesn`t save the generic and boring gameplay. Come to think of it the last DICE game I enjoyed was BC2.
 
Had a few hours on it today, seems very average. Graphics and sound are awesome, gameplay so far is lacking. I like it a little simply because it's Star Wars, if this was any other franchise then I would avoid it.

Its an issue with EA/DICE, they create a new game each year to sell but lacks any depth, so console crap mechanics is what dice do.
They are good with the visual/audio but gameplay sucks so much I simply hate them as they ruined their own franchise so badly.

I dominate in Battlefront but the game is bland and boring and holds no interest what so ever and another Hardline epic fail. console crap mechanics
 
Good video from Chris on battlefront netcode. For those not willing to watch it's almost on par with BF retail but miles off the CTE, esp when you use higher tick rates.
