Star Wars: Force Unleashed Demo

I loved the feeling of power you get just throwing people about out the way. I'm sure once you get used to game and the force powers it becomes easier to control. By the end of the demo picking stuff up and chucking it about was a blast rather than a chore. I'm gonna have to get this game. Hopefully there will be another demo out before launch.

Really liked it, seemed like Jedi Knight cross with God of War. Flinging stuff about took some getting used to, but after a while became easy to do, pre-ordered anyway with a cool FU stormtrooper action figure free as well. :D

Really enjoyed the demo!
Graphics are great and combat is a lot of fun. Hopefully it stays fresh with new moves and combos throughout the rest of the game aswell.

Might pre-order if there's anywhere cheap enough ;)

Btw, whats the idea with multiplayer?

I love the demo, it's the one game that has made me hold on to selling my 360. In fact playing the demo made me want to watch all the episodes again :p

i was really dissapointed with the length of the demo but hey beggers cant be choosers.

I really cant decide whether or not to get this on the Wii or PS3

PS3 graphics are nice and the Wii is not but standing in your living room fighting in dual mode.

i may have to get the Wii version just for the multi player aspect

Cool demo, definately gonna check out the full game. I tried the 360 version first then went over to the PS3 one. Took me a few minutes to notice but there was no vibration with my dual shock 3 even though it was on in the menu

Definately keeping my pre-order after playing the demo, my only gripe would be not being able to block and run but I wonder if this will be unlocked as an ability later in the game. Graphics are pretty decent and the physics are generally good. Looks like being the first decent Starwars game for a while!

1 word: Awesome!

Great control, great fun, the feeling of the powers are really well done, earlier I grabbed a Stromtrooper, gave him a whirlybird around the room, set him near, well, face first on top of a crate, and instead of grabbing 1, he grabbed 1 with each hand, holding a Stormtrooper upside down with the force whilst lifting a heavy crate on each of his arms...awesome torture! :D

I wonder if grip will get strong in the game so you can lift an enemy and an object together easier?

Hope the force bars gets bigger as the game progresses, too! :)

Urgh is there a way to choose your target. It seems a bit random. I'm in the main hangar, want to pull the tie fighter off the roof and throw it at a bunch of storm troopers, but I have to stand there for a good twenty seconds while I get just the right camera angle for the game to lock on to it.

Played the demo, love Star Wars but thought it was rubbish :(

Obvious that the developer was too bust making all the cool force powers and forgot about the rest of the enviroment etc.

First thing I noticed was there was no backround noise even though you had a big battle going on outside the windows :-/

Too many random boxes lying around, enemy AI was rubbish, the list goes on.....

Not played it long myself, but so far am feeling like you about it.

And I was looking forward to this. I have not been following development or trying to build up and expectations, apart from that I just wanted a nice light saber based game with smooth, intuitive control and good fighting mechanics.

Perhaps they should tweak the engine game code for ninja gaiden and set a star wars game in that :)
