Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order (Respawn Entertainment)

Sorry for going OT a bit but what is it about Titanfall 2's story mode that garnered such praise? I don't own it so know nothing about it. Pretty graphics? Epic cutscenes? Great plot? Fantastic characters?

Was just great over all also came at a time with fps stories seemed to have been ditched by every dev going.

I loved it personally

Good graphics, good gunplay, decent storyline, some very well implemented "time travel" and some really good level design (like the level where you climb the "scenery")

Not sure about this title yet, so little info out there but Respawn have done some good stuff so heres hoping.

It being only on Origin might annoy some of the "I only use Steam" crowd though, but I think thats just something which is only going to increase so they'll just either have to learn to accept it or switch to console gaming
 
This makes me want to jump into Jedi Academy and the movie battles mod, brilliant fun!

This and that it is Respawn gives me a glimmer of hope it won't be completely ****. They've hoovered up some people with good pedigree but whether they can make it all work is another matter.

I believe they are also not as tightly in the clutches of EA (at this point) as some of the other studios under EA and still have a little more autonomy.

EDIT: I think this is likely a make or break title for them as well.
 
EA, so meh.

It will be full of loot boxes and other tat which will take precedence over actual gameplay. Like all modern EA games.
 
The trailer has done very little for me tbh, but I’m excited by the idea of a new Jedi Academy style game. Fingers crossed.

So despite them coming out and specifically saying that there won't be any loot boxes or micro-transactions in the game you think EA will risk losing the Star Wars licence with another Battlefront 2 style backlash?
