Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (fallen order sequel)

just started this game, feel good about it for some reason, but it’s weird it looks better with DLSS at 4k than native!?

It's got pretty decent gameplay and a compelling enough story... you've also missed out on most of the bugs etc that made it bear impossible to enjoy

Has this actually been fixed now then?
My 4090 system couldn't power through the shocking stutters, frame drops, and crashes. So I gave up after about 20hrs, as it just wasn't fun to play such a mess.

Never had any of that on my. 6800xt, it genuinely ran like a dream, only had 1 issue where the second to last level was flickering, a game restart and it was ok.

Yeah, I had lots of stuttering and random crashes when cutscenes playing. I found turning off retracing got rid of the stuttering. This was at 4k, 4090, x78003d. Still had few crashes though.

The game itself is a lot bigger than fallen order, took me 65 hrs to 100% it on GM difficulty.

Some really tough boss fights in the fractures, blaster stance is your friend for those.

Max settings @4k too no doubt.
No, just 1440p, ray tracing off with everything else in ultra, turned fsr off aswell as it looked blurry to me.

I'm just saying not everyone had the major issues that others report, a d there is literally millions of people who have managed to play the game without the glitches affecting the game play too much.

Fallen order however is still terrible, with random glitches and the screen going some form of weird black and white with some hints of colour

My advice is to turn the res up above native, turn AA to Low (high makes Cal extremely fuzzy on high because it uses a crappy form of TAA) and use upscaling to lower the framerate back to somewhere near "native"

never had any issues with Fallen Order - it was perfect start to finish. I heard it was a bit crappy at first mind

Keep getting crashes when I’m on the 3d navigation map and it sounds like the gpu has started to get a lot more load as well as it crashes, one time as I launched the game my gpu fan went to 100% as well
