Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (Disney+)

I've enjoyed the show to date, but I would say that the episodes at times feel on the short side ... i know they end on key points, but it feels like that comes too quickly.

Actual content of the episodes vary from 20-36 minutes or something - some of them have like 12 minutes of credits at the end (EDIT: Well a bit less than 12 minutes but a substantial chunk)...

They hover around 30-45 minutes depending, which is fine imo if they're accounting for pacing.

Still enjoying it, loved the latest episode, and I'll reiterate that Jude Law is the big selling point. I suspect for those with young children, it would be the opposite, but that's why I think the show is well designed. There's something to keep everyone entertained, it's surprisingly brutal at times given the focus and I very much get on with the way its been handled.

Episode 2 for example is 32 minutes and once you take out the recap, intro and credits there is barely 20 minutes of content.

That's pretty low, but it doesn't bother me too much given they released EP1 and 2 at the same time (Not sure why they didn't just call it EP1), probably addressing the quarter vs third pounder issue.

Aka people don't understand math.

Yeah, theres a lot of time wasted fluff per episode so the actual episodic content is rather short. Every episode reaches its end very fast.

Binge watched this and it was great! Even though it was made for kids I still enjoyed it. In my opinion its better than any other Star Wars series.

I just watched episode 8 and really enjoyed it, great ending to the series and for the first time since Andor I'm looking forward to another season of a Star Wars show.

The hover bike chase scenes were a big highlight for me, great fun imo.

Nice sort of kiddy ending to a kiddy show. If it was made for Adults I have many criticisms, but as a family/kids show it excelled and the few unanswered illogical things just don't matter (to me anyway!).

I can enjoy things aimed at kids when they're well done, but I can't enjoy things aimed at adults that treat them like kids.

Skeleton Crew is the sort of thing I'd be excited to sit down with younger family with to introduce them to the universe, while knowing I'd not be wanting to off myself after the first 10 minutes.

Bit bored with the final episode, some good ideas with the show in general and a massive step away from the **** they've mostly pushed out with recent shows but still a lot of work needed.

Episode 8 **** the bed....

I bet it cost way too much too..

Felt like they just ran out of time and threw everything on the screen at once lol

I really hate how they portray x wings doing hairpin, hand break turns. Just doesn't sit with me .

B5 starfury sure but not X wing.

I enjoyed the last episode thought it was fun ending to the series. Judd Law without a doubt carried the show. Don't think KK likes males leads though but he still stole the show from the main cast of kids.
