Oh god, after episode 7 we're supposed to believe the Jedi are evil now? Because they did an awful job tying to make them look like they are!
They did nothing wrong! It looked like the mother was killing her own daughter! And the rest got killed because Jedi Master Trinity cut off the wifi from the wookie!

I find it better than kenobi but that's it.... Cant believe Andor got lower figures when its by far the best thing Disney have **** out by a country mile.
That crap song at the end.. lol f off.
 
It still plays to me like an inferior version of Wheel Of Time...

Though of course you could argue Bob Jordan based his idea of the "One Power" on The Force and Jedi does rhyme with Aes Sedai!

So the whole basis of the massacre was the witches retaliating with the mind control but then the jedi went berserk and wookie got mind **** as well?

Just a series of misunderstandings and rash decisions. The headstrong padawan rushing off, the witch mother wanting to fight. Misunderstanding each other's intentions. Indara said she should go in alone but let the other Jedi talk her out of it. No one decision, just a set of unfortunate mistakes. Glad we got to see the wookie fight too, was another good fight. And then culminated in Sol letting Mae die (or so he thought) It's clear to see why he has been carrying guilt. Some people just seem to (intentionally?) misunderstand it, it's not showing the Jedi as evil at all. In fact they showed that they weren't even there for the children like we though they were.

So why did the jedi kill himself, why guilt did he hold? You know, the entire premise for this ********?

It makes zero sense tho, the only way it does is if the jedi are indeed the bad guys and that's what drives his guilt. Are the jedi the bad guys? That seems to be the general consensus both here and online.

Only if you're incapable of seeing beyond extremes. As always it's shades of grey, he had good intentions but the outcome was disaster. Same with Sol. Nothing has made the jedi out to be the bad guys at all, but that doesn't mean their actions can't have consequences. Same as the actions of the witches had consequences, they're most certainly not the good guys and aren't shown as that.

No its just terrible writing with plot holes you can fit a Death Star through.
 
But it still hasn't explained the flammable stone, the odd noises from the generator or where all the other non-witch villagers went. Amongst other issues.

It's the new way of writing a series or movie adds too the audience participation as we have to fill in 50% of the story arc , which is probably better than most of the writers could do .
