Like this particular use of cortosis, they exist in the pre-Disney legends novels, so not made up for the show..

I hope it's not 1+1 = 2 but given the rest of the show green wooden Jedi has fought him before.

I hope they just wind this mYsTeRy up on 7 and 8 because this won't be renewed and having something major hanging at the end of a season is such an annoying risk.

As naff as this is it should be allowed to finish.

The most recent one? It was okay. It looks like it might go somewhere interesting, maybe, if you squint a bit. Not worth renewing for, imo. Wait for the second season of Andor to drop, then renew.
