Steam Autumn Sale Hype!

Beyonetta and Resident Evil 0 will do it for me, not a bad sale actually. I much much prefer the sales not being as extreme anymore, sick and tired of a bloated steam library of stuff I'll never play, but that's more of a self control issue than a fault of super cheap sales, so meh :p
 
If you pay for 3d mark is that it for life or are there new versions every few years? Are the extra features useful? Seems good value if its a one time payment, otherwise the free one will do.

You will need to buy larger future upgrades if its anything with how it works atm. I had to and others who owned 3D mark prior to July 14 2016 had to buy the Timespy add-on to unlock all of that. Was not too much £6 at the time. I expect it will be similar going forward, smaller bits being available for free, but larger items and new test suite brought as an upgrade.
 
Might grab State of Decay Year One Survival Edition £5.74

Tempted to get EVE:Valkyrie - Warzone now it supports Ultrawide 21:9 and is half price £12 but not sure if there's many playing it.
 
Not steam but windows store has 50% off some games. Just bought Gears of War 4 for £16.

Might wait on Hellblade until Xmas.

Windows store is blooming rubbish tho. Paid via paypal and got an error message at checkout.

Still received my email saying I had made a purchase, game was added to my library and started downloading (120Gb! :eek:)

Thinking Hellblade now and then Space Hulk Deathwing at Christmas before the enhanced edition comes out.

If you end up really liking it, you may find that £10 is a fair price.

If you end up hating it, you might regret spending that £10.

Ahh, I guess thats fair enough. Also looks like that update is also on sale for £1 odd, so as long as you stick to sales it shouldn't cost too much to keep up to date. tbh i'll only really use it when upgrading to test the performance gain, so it wont get used a lot.
 
Everyone's gone to the Rapture is £3.99...

Decent price but can anyone recommend this one. I realise it won that BAFTA but I don't know anyone who actually bought it :p
