Steam Autumn Sale Hype!

Not bought anything from Steam yet but did just get Dishonoured 2 for £6.29 from cdkeys. Be good motivation to actually finish the first one:D
I never finished the first one either. I remember getting frustrated at trying to get past some part with exploding sea shell things and never going back to it. I did play through and complete the second one though and it was brilliant. I'd actually like to go back and start again with the first one but got so games in the library not touched yet...

[STEAM] Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition PC - £0.89 with 10% off code @CDKEYS

10% OFF CODE - CDKEYSBLACK10
I actually really enjoyed playing through the campaign in this. Never went back to it again after completing it mind you but at that price everyone whose ever enjoyed a 2D fighter should be having a go!

I mentioned the other day that CDkeys had the new Doom on for £7.99 less than Steams £9.99 it`s now down to £5.99 plus the 10% off code.

Pondering if I should just by Sunsua Hellblade now for £18 or wait until the Xmas sale.
You're missing out if you wait, I'd be surprised if it's significantly cheaper, it's a vital game tackling a difficult topic in a mature way. I've never seen anyone else get close in terms of the understanding shown of mental illness here. The performance by the actress playing the protagonist is unbelievably powerful and the graphics just stunning.

If you like story based games this is unmissable. However, combat is not the focus although I still found it to be perfectly adequate so bear that in mind.

Still fun games Serious Sam - it's the fast pace of the movement that makes these games for me.

For a little over £1, I can't complain. Had a brief go this evening and it's actually a bit better than I was expecting. I'd say it looks like it'll be the weakest out of the series, but still good enough for a blast now and then.

Tell us more. What VR titles did you get?

I browsing the VR bit of the sale but apart from Evolution nothing has grabbed me.

Picked up the croteam collection of serious sam VR games and talos principle, havnt played the later yet but the 4 serious sam games are worth the price I paid alone, ones an rails wave shooter, not my kind of game tbh, but the other 3 are remakes for vr with full locomotion, absolute heart pumping stuff in vr! Sports bar vr to play pool with a friend who recently moved away, really enjoying it, way more than I though I would, and I expect you do die, I havnt touched that yet though.
But I mostly play Bullets and More and Pavlov, I picked them on sale a few months ago and I havnt been able to put them down since, they have ruined 1st person shooters for me, I can’t go back to playing a non VR shooter again, pressing ‘R’ to reload is just boring now, nothing beats running out of ammo in a gun fight, and having to duck into cover, ejecting a magazine putting a fresh one in, cocking your weapon and getting back into the action!
BAM at £6 and Pavlov at £4 are absolute steals

Got Serious Sam 2 earlier. A lot more cartoonish than previous games in the series, but still looks like good fun.

Are you playing the original or the new Fusion version? I've seen mention of this in my Steam library but never got round to investigating what it was... downloading now.

I've been playing the original, though now I notice that there's the Fusion version in my library, I'll take a look at that as well. No idea what it is.
