Steam Link and Steam Controller now available to Pre Order

There are a lot of PC games that are designed for controllers and sofa lounging. They also have the advantage of being cheaper and better looking than consoles.

Still using a DS3 with motionjoy. Fiddly but works.
Never liked the Xbox controllers from the sticks not being symmetrical.

If this pad is reviewed well I'll get one. And if I get one, I'll consider getting the link to be able to relax on the sofa.

Would be cool if you could take the link and use it in a different location.

I'm sure with VPNs you could trick it, although the upload speed of most home internet connections would probably prevent it being very playable.

You don't have to use their controller.

Yes?

That doesn't really address the major theme of the issue. As always on PC Gaming someone has picked one section of the post and ignored everything else. Who the hell wants to sit on a sofa with a keyboard and mouse anyway?

Who the hell wants to sit at a desk tied to a desktop.

Bit of an aside but you should definitely make the move to SCP Driver instead of MotionJoy. It's infinitely better.

I do. Some Grid on the sofa yes please! I will also be playing Civilization. Tomb raider too. The only reason to stay at the desk is for fps games.

I too played Tomb Raider on my 40" TV with a pad. It was much better than playing on my 19" monitor cooped up in my office.

£7.40 for shipping?? It better come in a box with a fiver in it.
Yup.

£40 already sucks when it's only $50 in the US. Still, I went through the process of pre-ordering the Link, and then they want another £7.50($10) for shipping? Immediately backed out of the purchase.

Come on Valve.

Hopefully this'll be available at retail somewhere.

Portal 2 and Rocket League is being given away free to people pre-ordering Steam hardware.

But its also being given free to people who have already pre-ordered too, which is nice!

Pre-ordered the controller, going see what the quality is like before i purchase the SB fingers crossed they will be good quality
