Steam sale now .... Off

Remembered in the nick of time that sale ended at 1700 GMT, as their clocks changed last weekend or even the one before...

Couple of nostalgia picks from my Amiga days (Chaos Engine and Speedball 2 HD), plus Ginga Force (sounds a bit like Bitmap Brothers classic Megablast 2) and Super Woden GP 2. Oh and remastered NFS.

Yea I saw it as 10am PST and thought 'sound, will log in at 5pm', I guess our clocks aren't the typical 8 hours apart right now.

US clocks went forward last weekend so east coast is curently 4 hours behind instead of the usual 5 hours, until our clocks go forward next weekend

I dunno, I think it's pretty pointless buying games through steam, yes sometimes you can get these little indy games on offer they don't really sell on key sites, fine.

But my "big" game purchase so far for this year was Helldivers, jump straight onto CD keys £26 thank you very much.

Got an oled and waiting on official drivers...but yes I will be :p

Just to update you on this; I tested it with a cheap USB DAC / Sound card thingy and it worked fine for headphones. Not a very elegant solution but it is at least plug and play with no drivers required.

Edit: You can also use a standard USB-C to 3.5mm converter that you get with phones. My Google Pixel one works fine.

I like having the Steam points for buying different profile images. :D

You have to be one of those guys on the steam forums farming clown awards

I have no idea what that means so I will assume you are very wrong. Apparently you get them for purchases during sales. I suspect that might be the reason.
Also I got the number very wrong, I currently have 110k not 400k.

People post troll threads in various steam forums, as a result people give the posts a badge/award thuing, usually the jester to ridicule it. The trolls are actually farming the awards because you get steam points from them.

Oh I see! I've seen awards on reviews but didn't realise it was a thing on the forums. Not sure I've ever really gone into them come to think of it.
