Steam sale

I bought Defense Grid 2 the other day as it was discounted around £5.49 then a couple of hours later it went down a couple of quid more. Disappointed so I requested a refund as it is allowed by their rules and I had played less than 2 hours.

I paid via paypal originally so I get an email approving my refund... to my steam wallet! Wouldn't have been a problem but the heavy discount ended and there's still no sign of my wallet refund which can take up to seven days. I mean they control their steam currency right? So why the wait? Could it be they were hoping I'd part with more cash on said sale item? It's really not on!

I really don't expect the refund to complete this side of the sale. Oh well you live and learn...

When you request the refund there is a drop down box to select the refund method.

I can only imagine the feeling of emptiness, when he sits there with his level 100 Steam account, knowing that he's just spent "a couple hundred dollars" on it.

And it does absolutely nothing.

Or maybe it brings him a little bit of joy? I don't know why people on here always have to make nasty comments about something someone else enjoys. Some of these guys that buy loads of cards are loaded anyway and probably have a script that auto buys all their cards.

And before you mention my steam level, it hasn't cost me a penny. Although the 300+ games that generate cards have :o.

You know you have too many games when you spot something of interest in the Sale, log on to buy it and it's already in your library :o

Hah :p I did the same thing yesterday with The Long Dark. "Oooo, that looks good!", logged in to buy it, had already bought it months ago.

Just buy it off a cd key site, there are lots of games on cd key sites that are still lower than the steam sale prices.

Totally agree, not just cdkeys but lots of sites have it lower than the so called "steam Sale" these last couple of years has been a joke on the pricing tbh.

The Talos Principle has been on my wishlist for a while. It's now £10.19 - the lowest I've seen it. I can't see it dropping any lower.

I'll probably make it my last purchase for this sale...unless there is something out of the ordinary towards the end!

Cheers

I'm doing well this sale so far, spent less than £10!

Nothing big has taken my fancy yet (probably just as well as the stack of games I have to complete would probably reach to the moon!)

I noticed Space Engineers is down to £10, cant quite decide whether to buy it or not?

Does anyone have it, is it just (and I have to use this phrase) minecraft in space, or is it more involved with things like ED etc?

You should try it sometime, it really opens up the pores. :)

Does anyone think Pillars of Eternity will be cheaper that the -25% it's at now?

Can get the Royal edition from Kinguin for cheaper than the standard edition is on the Steam Sale at the mo.

The cheapest prices are flash sales and the daily sales on the front page.
