Steam Sales - Are you buying ****?

No.
A **** game is still a waste of money no matter how much it costs.

Some of the rubbish on there I would play even it was free.

I pretty much own all the games I want that seem to go repeatedly go for cheap in the sales. But I still managed to pick up a couple of new ones I have had on my "when it's cheaper list".

Monkey Island HD (1+2)
NFS: Hot Pursuit
RAGE

I've bought Borderlands GOTY, GTA collection and Hitman Blood Money in the last few sales.

Played 10mins of each. But Borderlands was to try out my new system, GTA as I thought for £4.99 it was too good a deal to turn down and Hitman Blood Money as I couldnt get it to work on Xbox 360 (until I found out how).

PC gaming is second to my 360 (apart from for RTS's). I dread to think how much I'd spend if the PC was my main format or if the 360 had a similar type sale. As it stands I have bought Anno complete 19.99, AOE 3 7.49 and all the Civ 5 DLC. The other half has bought a couple of Sims expansions.

For me it's my first steam sale, only had my gaming rig for 4 months about and I've gone a little mad with games but only ones I will enjoy and a couple to test out different genres to see if I like them I will play all these games but the next sale well that's another question entirely.......

So much stuff just sitting in Steam waiting for me to finally install. A bit like the little jar of dried fennel just waiting and waiting but never making it out of the cubboard and into a dish..

I was pleased that I had only spent £8 up until yesterday with Alan Wake and Dead Space 2, but last night/today I bought a few more. Bulletstorm, E.Y.E, Dungeon Defenders and Dear Esther. Still not done badly though.

Even though I must have 25+ games on my Steam account, I do genuinely believe I will get round to playing all of these games at some point
