Very unlikely it'll go lower, the publisher has gone bust a long time ago sadly, and even on 'theme' events like halloween it only drops to that price.
It runs on Windows 7 quite happily, so I'd imagine it'll run on Win8 fine. There's also numerous community-made unofficial patches and bug-fixes which also add in some of the missing game elements from the original, so even if it doesn't work immediately don't worry.
IIRC the intro videos don't work, but that's about it.
Got democracy 3, it looked interesting and it is. Don't think its worth what it is. Should be a sub £3 game. However I win at politics.

GRID 1 is fun, but they turned the PC multiplayer servers off a couple of years ago.
GRID 2 is a bit gash if I'm honest. The handling is all to **** - went far to ridge racer wahey powerslide for my liking. I'd save my money on both, and get GRID Autosport when it's out in a couple of weeks.
I just picked up XCOM. Bargain for under £4, plus it's Mac as well.

Grabbed myself far cry 3, £3.75 seemed fair enough, I'm really hoping for a sale on South Park Stick of truth.
Also tempted by thief and metro last light, but I'm hoping they'll be on some kind of flash sale as well.

Blood Dragon, wow. Having a proper good time with this. The art style and graphics are incredible and getting way more than I hoped for. CS:GO might be my purchase, never played a CS game but just found out you can sell items you get in the games

Decided to pick up a few games that I should have tried earlier. Complete editions of Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, full Dead Island pack and complete edition of Tropico 4.

Fallout 3 is awesome.
Don't forget to look around the Indie and other sections - they put good discounts (e.g. 60% off) on some good titles.

Yes, it's a great heist game (think "Heat" with Pacino & De Niro) and worth £8. When I last played it was getting quite serious (but it does match-make with people your level). There should be a lot of new players given the sale hence I think it's a good time to buy. Plus there is loads of DLC to try new maps when you are ready.

I bought it of amozon US for £6 about 3months ago, but game is great, loads of people online. developers release patches very often fixing game and adding futures.
