It's a good thing that what you can tell about the game is quite wrong then. It's a brilliant single player game filled with action and very good dialogue and cinematics.
I am not interested in cinematics really. Dialogue is only really relevant to help the story. But what about the gameplay, the core element of the game and the thing you spend most time doing (or not as the case may be if the stories are true about the intrusive cinematics)?
Having watched videos it does indeed just look like a case of get a load of guns and shoot the bad guys and partake in a few scripted set pieces. Are the levels linear or can you conquer them in your own way by altering your routes through them? Are there any other elements to the levels other than killing everything that moves (IE puzzle solving, finding items, using the environment to kill enemies instead of tackling them head on)? Can you upgrade/progress your character in a way which suits your play style? Can you modify and upgrade weapons in the same way? Do you have any other abilities which help (IE like telekenesis, body armour, weapon/melee/stealth bonuses granted depending on your play style? Duel weilding .50 cal rifles? Really? What about enemy AI? Seems to me like they just run in and shoot at you? Do they call alarms in order to bring more backup if you are seen? Or do they not bother and if they die well, their tough luck?
Seems to me like this is just RTCW with better graphics, but I am more than happy to be proven wrong. The last Wolfenstein game at least tried to add different elements of play style, but this one does seem like a rehash with better graphics but ultimately the same gameplay as 2001!
