That's not happening anymore its being kept alive for existing games for the foresable future. Phil Spencer said a few months ago he did not want MS to turn it off as that would be wrong so it lives on for existing games only. Thats why Dark Souls 1 is not being converted to Steamworks as MS have said they will leave the GFWL servers on. Its not like it would cost the much to do that either :rolleyes:

AOE online is being shutdown 1st July as its F2P & cost a lot of money to maintain so MS canned it :( (I loved that game it was great fun).
 
Picked up Far Cry 3 earlier, now tempted by Amnesia on today's sale. Is. Prison Architect likely to drop any further, if not is it worth £7? Stayed away from early access games in the past but this has been early access for ages now.

Machine for pigs isnt for everyone but i really enjoyed the story etc, played it in one sitting. Its not as jump scary as the original but is made by the chinese room who made dear esther, so has a much better focus on story imo

They need top make a new spore. Idea was great. It wasn't as bad as everyone made out.. but it did utterly fail too include the scope they wanted. Think how much computers have moved on. The idea is still great.

Ooh and I remember why I don't buy old games on steam commandos 3 won't work. What's the pone which updates old games to make sure they run? Is it greenman.

Tempted to spend my pocket money on Rage, I don't play an awful lot of FPS games any more as I started to find them all a bit too repetitive. This one any good?
 
Guys,

I want to buy 2 games on Steam, but my pc isn't built at the moment due to waiting for a case to be delivered, but I have access via my wife's laptop or my tablet, so can I somehow buy the games now and install when I have my pc up and running, or do I need to buy within the Steam client whilst logged in?

Never bought direct from Steam before so not sure what their procedure is?

Login via the website on laptop or even buy through the android/ios app on your phone.

Has Prison Architect got to the point of being worth buying?

I have passed up on it until now as it seemed to be a bit too early in its development cycle.
